I've gone back and forth in my mind with a few different scenarios: Pence being a true traitor seems somewhat overly simplified.
But what if it's just the opposite? What if the pacemaker he had installed is some sort of technology/insurance against being heart attacked?

Im a graphic designer by trade and I saw the image you're referencing. The gallows device was a cheaply made game asset photoshopped onto the lawn. Even ignoring the perspective not lining up. The things way behind the structure in the distance have more detail and texture than the item in the foreground. Also the lighting doesn't match the surroundings.
The "gallows device" was there for several weeks and was on the White House livestream the whole time (not sure when it was built) from 1/6 until after the inauguration and you were able to view it getting dismantled over a week or so time after the inauguration.
