Number 3:
Dear IRS,
First Amendment says you can fuck right off.
Regards,
Americans
We used to use our churches as meeting places for political discourse. It's time we brought that back to the forefront.
BTW, does anyone here remember what Farakhan, Sharpton, Jackson, and other "left leaning" pastors and preachers tell their congregations re voting? They use their pulpits as political "bully pulpits."
If it's ok for Demonrat pastors and preachers to do this, it should be equally ok if we do it. Yet, it clearly isn't "ok." What we have here is a double standard.
It needs to end...NOW. If it means our churches lose their 501c(3) status, so be it.
I worked as a church secretary for several years and myself and many members of the church wanted advice and wisdom from the pulpit on who to vote for. One of the reasons we are in the shape we are in is because we have taken church out if everything. It should be the first place we go to for advice.
During the 2020 election campaign a very well respected and influential Pastor I know posted on his FB page that he was voting for Biden. Now, in my opinion that was very unwise because it didn’t matter who he was going to vote for, in that political climate his opinion was going cause division, and it did. Many couldn’t believe it - it turned into a huge fight amongst those in his FB community, and he really caught sh!t for it. If a Pastor is shepherding his flock in a way that reflects God’s values and principles, that flock should not need to be influenced in how to vote - they will know how to discern God’s heart. That Pastor is now leaving the church community he founded 30+ years ago, and his sons (who’ve also pastored there) and their families as well. It’s a shame because at a time when the Christian community needs to pull together and be drawing closer to the Father so we can know His will for our futures in these last days, the Church is, instead, being splintered from within and that’s exactly what the enemy wants. If we ever had any doubt about the evil intentions of Satan, we are seeing them today very clearly. The Church is under attack and we’d better be uniting in His Spirit instead of dividing over politics.
Trust The Science ^TM
I like how the IRS is openly admitting that Republicans in general adhere more closely to Bliblical principles and morals, like respect for life and the golden rule, than the more satanic-aligned demonrats do.
Try to think of a Commandment that democrats don't openly violate and encourage others to do the same—as part of their party platform, advertising and campaign strategy
Basically they're just really loathsome, self-absorbed, sanctimonious, overbearing bullies with skin like Bible paper. LOL
I believe we are all being bamboozled on this one …
It’s fairly simple IMO.
First, the real issue is TAXES. It’s a form of control that underpins all of society. There is a reason why taxes exists, and it’s not for the betterment of the government. Everyone should understand this.
It’s monetary slavery.
Second, the fact we are even having this discussion in context to TAXES proves the point … we have co-mingled state and religion. Unintentional of course, but this is how powerful this form of slavery is.
Give unto Caesar what belongs to Caesar.
By being exempt, the church is now beholden to a whole bunch of extra rules. It’s a YOKE freely worn.
Catholic archdiocese… they will not get a single cent from me. Largest for-Profit corporation out there.
Yup, tax exempt is nothing but a way to buy off the churches
I agree! It's not like God can't afford to provide their tax money!
It kind of reminds me of something partisan I'd expect out of Twitter or YouTube.
As if someone woke was in charge and mixing in their political affiliation.
If that is the csse, then these alphabet agencies recruiting the woke is one of the worst things that could happen. Big tech meeting Big Government.
