As soon as he said "explosives" he knew he had screwed up, which is why his brain scrambled the next few words as it was trying to work out a way to correct what he had said.
On a visit a few years after the attacks, he was asked a question by a young child. The child asked, "Mr President when did you know what was happening on 9 11"? Bush Jr replied, "I was waiting to go into the classroom and they had a TV on out in the room we were in. I saw the first plane hit the tower and thought it was a small areoplane that had somehow got lost and had a terrible accident. Then we saw the second plane hit and we knew it was a terrorist attack" (I'm paraphrasing here but it's the same point) The trouble is with that statement is that no TV's ran the first aircraft hitting the first tower until 2 or 3 days later, so Bush Jr could have never had witnessed the first aircraft hitting. It was never broadcast live.
G Bush Jr was never blessed with any real intelligence, and was clearly placed there for 9 11.
The Bush family have extremely close ties to the Bin Laden family, in fact they had a nickname for Bush Sr and that was Poppy Bush. Just one day before the 9 11 crime, the Bush and Bin Laden family met, George Herbert W. Bush Meets Osama's Brother Shafiq bin Laden.
Also the only aircraft's that were allowed to fly out of the country days after 9 11 was again one's belonging to the Bin Laden's. I believe at the time the Bin Laden's had about 11% of the total worth of the USA in investments in the country.
If you think a guy who had a kidney problem requiring dialysis, who apparently lived in a cave in the Tora Bora region of Afghanistan, managed to evade the seriously good special forces of the USA and the UK, ran and co-ordinated the attacks on 9 11 then I have some bottles of Scotch mist to sell you!
That is not true that the first plane into the tower was not played for 2 or 3 days! It was on TV the first day pretty early.
Memory fades over time and things get mushed around and mixed up. I don't think there was plane footage, especially the first plane right away. We saw smoke, we saw both buildings collapse, but the plane footage emerged later.
That's because there were no planes. The Hollywood film of planes flying into the towers like a knife going into butter is what was played over and over along with the msm narrative of planes flying into towers until almost everyone believed it.

There were no planes. Aluminium wing tips do not cut through structural steel I beans like a cookie cutter. You're talking about a building that was built with the I beams in the outside. In order for that to happen that means the planes wingtips would have had to cut through steel oriented with its edge pointing outward meaning that the plane tips would have had to cut through over a foot of structural steel in order to create the shape outlined in the videos. The point being that Bush stated he saw the first plane hit the tower live on TV (the first plane hit at 8:48) when he was waiting to go into the classroom. At 09:05 the second plane hit (which was shown live) and his chief of staff Andy Card came in and told him.
He did not see the first plane hit live on TV because it was never broadcast live on TV! The below is what he said:
QUESTION: One thing, Mr. President, is that you have no idea how much you've done for this country, and another thing is that how did you feel when you heard about the terrorist attack?

Well, Jordan (ph), you're not going to believe what state I was in when I heard about the terrorist attack. I was in Florida. And my chief of staff, Andy Card -- actually I was in a classroom talking about a reading program that works. And I was sitting outside the classroom waiting to go in, and I saw an airplane hit the tower -- the TV was obviously on, and I use to fly myself, and I said, "There's one terrible pilot." And I said, "It must have been a horrible accident."
But I was whisked off there -- I didn't have much time to think about it, and I was sitting in the classroom, and Andy Card, my chief who was sitting over here walked in and said, "A second plane has hit the tower. America's under attack."
There is a problem with the above statement. There was no live video coverage of the first plane hitting the tower. There couldn't be. Video of that first plane hitting the tower did not surface until days later.
To be fair, he's speaking about ongoing terrorist plots after 9-11 not about 9-11 itself. He's reading from a piece of paper. The continued plots were to blow up more buildings with the intention of trapping people on the upper floors.
I'm not defending this POS Bush at all. I believe he was a puppet and that Cheney was the one truly in charge and Bush was fully aware of what the CIA was doing/had done and continue to do. So these alleged "plots" were never really going to happen because for them to take place the CIA would have to allow it to and they already at that point had the hearts and minds of America and were free to romp around in the Middle East with carte blanche and at the same time strip us of our freedoms under the guise of "alleged terrorist threats."
Here's a much longer clip. We shouldn't be so quick to take an edited version from Twitter as fact or a reimagining of what was actually said. It's a slippery slope and makes us look bad.

Thanks for saving me the time to type this. I feel like I didn't even have to watch a longer clip to know he wasn't talking about 9/11. He is justifying the post 9/11 intelligence gathering techniques given ongoing terrorist threats including explosives planted in buildings.
Yes. And you know, at the time, we all used this as justification for the Patriot Act. But an old hippie liberal I knew at the time (and she is a Jew), was upset with GWB because of the Patriot Act. It’s one of the first things that woke me up. Unfortunately, Obama’s support for it put all the liberals to sleep. They got swept up into Leftism (which is Progressivism which is actually ill-liberal). We often justify what “our guy” does without evaluating the issue.

I was blocks away, right in front of city hall. I heard explosives 10 minutes or so before they came down.
