I mean, being honest, the weather IS nice. Once the government is cleaned up and the homeless/crime problem taken care of to some extent, I'd imagine people will start flocking there again. For the record, I'm not talking about LA or anything like that. Inner city housing sucks in every state and the cost of housing is absurd because of basic supply/demand. But I'd imagine smaller towns and cities will become boom towns, assuming this actually goes down how we think it will. Same thing with Colorado, Oregon, and Washington. All beautiful states, but corrupt governments.

So does that mean there is movement in CA to audit? Newsome is one thing, not a big thing though. Always saw this as more symbolic because the vote wont go our way with cheating.
I'll be the first one dancing in the streets if CA turns red, but I don't see any movement in that direction. Sure people are talking about it, but so what? What is being DONE about it?

This is their dream state. An enclave that is only controlled and inhabitable by the super wealthy. California flipping back to red would be a paradigm shift in the United States.
Which is why the increasingly mounting evidence that it's actually a red state is so important. Nothing will happen until the military steps in, but once it does and they have a free and fair election for the first time in 30+ years, I'd imagine that paradigm will shift massively.
Hopefully. FL is full folks. Prices are rising way too high down here, mainly because we're tired of being inundated with people from the blue states. We're trying to make it too expensive for people to move here, but the unintended consequence is making too expensive for the rest of us to afford living here. So, stay where you're at. Work to fix the messes y'all have helped create. Your children will thank you for it...eventually.
To be fair, the overwhelmingly majority of people moving to red states like Florida and Texas are conservative. I'd personally welcome those votes, but I understand the frustration of everything going up in price because people are looking for some freedom and like minded company. Then again, this is mostly happening in the urban centers and their suburbs. If you go to say, North Florida or the panhandle near Alabama, or the Texas Panhandle or West Texas, it's MUCH more affordable because it's not limited (sub)urban housing. But I suppose we shouldn't complain about red people invading cities and turning them red in the long run.

I did say overwhelming majority, Austin is kind of an outlier in that thanks to the worthless hipster tech cucks. But there were a few videos on bitchute and reports a couple months ago after the census results came in that proved something like 80-90% of people moving to red states are conservative. Texas was getting something like 100K+ people a month last year alone. So there ARE going to be some liberals, most of which seem to settling in Austin, but when there other 80-90% are conservative it's not really that big of a problem for the rest of the state.
Actually, the numbers are probably much better than that. Those same videos and reports showed that xiden has screwed with the numbers and some 20 million Americans just disappeared in the census at the last second. Nearly every one of them were in red states. Supposedly, Texas should have gotten 4 new votes, Florida 3, North Carolina 2, and Georgia 1. So there's 20 million people, probably conservative, just out there in limbo on our current census.

Just like with Austin Texas, there ARE some liberals coming. Like you said, several thousand, but the other 80-90% of tens/hundreds of thousands of people are conservative. Remember. WE are the majority. They're just a VERY vocal minority.
California is insanely huge. People don't realize it's actually half as densely populated as Florida. There is HUGE tracts of land, just an hour outside of every single major coastal city and most of it is dirt cheap because a lot of them don't have paved roads and aren't near any major freeway. In fact, the city of Los Angeles could double or quadruple in size simply by expanding into California City or into Riverside county which has an enormous amount of desert land. The other problem is, the infrastructure is dated, they refuse to build more freeways, and expand the existing ones, despite having the power to do so via Imminent Domain. Of course, doing this would cause lawsuits from just about every Democrat lawyer, and nothing will get done DESPITE Imminent Domain CLEARLY being a constitutional power of the government! This was what killed the train to nowhere. California spent something like $100 billion on literally nothing. NOTHING!!!!! The train was supposed to be a bullet train, capable of 100MPH speeds that connected all of the major coastal cities. What do we have today? Nothing. Just the existing train system that is slow as hell using 100 year old tracks. It's a joke. Liberals want to build all these nice things, but then have to answer to their constituents who think imminent domain is a human rights violations or is racist somehow on the people it effects. This is why nothing ever gets accomplished despite all of their promises, and blaming Republics... or my favorite, blaming car companies because GM lobbied in the 60s against public transportation. I'm sorry, but GM, Toyota, Ford ARE NOT DOING ANY LOBBYING! And if they are, it's not nearly as convincing as it was back then. It's these lawyers crippling progress and corrupt politicians that refuse to do anything without making a profit.
Imagine the Interstate 10 being expanded to 6 lanes instead of 1 or 2. Imagine the 1 doubling in size. We have the ability to do this. Yes, people will get displaced, yes, houses and property will get sold and relocated, but that's what's called progress. It's been done before, it can be done again and again to secure a better future. How do you think central park was built? How was the original freeway built in the first place? Getting paid more than fair market value is generous, especially for the opportunity to.. you know, not live next to a loud freeway all the time. Christ, I think I remember even learning this in Elementary school, that it was a possibility the government may relocate you in order to build a road, bridge or train track over your home. Leftists don't seem to understand this very very basic concept, which is surprising because it's fairly authoritarian and fits their agenda quite well. Instead, they are openly traitorous to their own nation, and are doing more damage than any foreign enemy could.

I'd break it up into multiple states. In fact, any states that hit 40EVs should have to split. Just my opinion.
I've had a different idea of how to do this for a while. If states like New Hampshire and Rhode Island can exist, why not just make it so that once a county hits a certain population threshold, say a million, it's treated similarly to DC. It's a self governing, autonomous entity inside the state. So using Texas for an example. Houston would become self governing. No longer getting representation at the state level and passing their own laws independent of the rest of Texas, but still have to pay Taxes to the state of Texas. Likewise, as far as federal elections go, they vote independently from the rest of Texas.

Honestly, I'd rather live in Texas anyway. Even IF the weather is God awfully hot at times, the people are nicer and the food is better. I was just making a point. People move to Florida and Arizona to retire because they're red states with good policies, tax incentives and have warm weather. Assuming California goes red, I can't imagine there won't be a massive influx of retirement communities, ala St. Petersburg and Scottsdale pop up all over California.

Heh, don't live there yet. Been looking to move out of my crap hole state for a while now though. Texas is one of the three states I'm debating between moving to though. Along with Tennessee and Idaho. As far as Texas goes, I'm actually looking at that area. I'm not much of a big city person, so I'm looking mostly at counties a little south of San Antonio that are driving distance away. Best of both worlds. Access to a pretty big city when I need it, with rural living.
At this point it's a matter of do I deal with cold in Idaho better, the humidity in Tennessee better, or the absurdly high temperatures in Texas better. I'm still talking it over with my family to see what everyone would want best.
That part of Texas is really pretty and you can't go wrong being rural. Are you in CA now?
PS it's not always hot and humid. It is kind of unbearable June July and Aug. Good to have a swimming pool if you can. It's very pleasant and mild the rest of the year.
Nope, I'm on the east coast. I'm kind of used to humidity to some point, so that's generally good to know. I kind of picked that area since it's in the middle of hill country. Not exactly mountains, but close enough for me to satisfy my scenic backdrop fetish.
I wouldn't classify south of San Antonio as hill country, at all. It's pretty flat and you're entering the Coastal Plains. If you want Hill Country, you need to be north of SA. Have you visited here?
Not yet, I'm basically just looking at ads on Zillow and broker websites at the moment. I'm not looking super south, like an hour away at most. Most of the properties are a decent combination of hills, forests, and flat lands. I originally started looking in the DFW area, and soon found out it was flatter than a pancake which kind of killed it for me. Started looking around east Texas for a while too since I liked the general environment. Seemed good for hunting, fishing, etc. But then I found out it was like Georgia levels of Humid and noped out of that. So then I kept looking until I found out about this general area and it seems to fit most of my wants.
