That’s exactly right - freedom to worship (or not) as seems right to an individual, and freedom to worship who/what they choose. These Luciferians have freedom to worship Satan, but want to tel us we can’t worship our God.
The 4-6% will also have freedom to believe the past view and that everything revealed was orange man propaganda. They will just be wrong! That is the beauty of the truth. The truth fights for itself.
I am here because I realize, as do many others here regardless of differences in religion (or lack thereof), that the rights and freedoms enshrined in writing by the extremely well-read and well-educated men who founded our Republic have been under attack for more than a hundred years by moral and immoral authoritarians alike. Is it a requirement that I devote my life to God in order to believe in a righteous and just cause to hold those who attack our nation's fundamental values and commit crimes against humanity accountable?
I do not rely on God or the Bible to dictate to me the difference between right and wrong, or between good and evil. But I do still consider what is written within the Bible, because it contains a great deal of wisdom and history that shouldn't be ignored if one is to take responsibility for their own life and strive to be a better person, or to inspire others to do the same. If anything, I feel that the most important lesson the Bible tries to teach to mankind is to take responsibility for your own actions and those of your children first, before you attempt to take responsibility for the actions of anyone else around you.
What's wrong?
You having a problem explaining why Q mentions GOD so often?
Look in the mirror cupcake! Nobody attacked you on your non-belief, until YOU attacked others for their beliefs.
You hypocrites make me laugh with your self righteous attitude, when you have no concept of what is even righteous or not.
So, I'll sit here waiting for you to explain exactly why you follow Q who mentions and cites the word of God and tells us to Trust God, when you so clearly do not.
The from is included from inheritance. The government cannot pass any laws telling you what religion to follow. This means you have the freedom FROM being forced to be a Catholic, Protestant, Infidel, or whatever becomes popular in the future. This includes no religion at all. Madison and Jefferson have both written on the subject and the Supreme Court ruled on it.
You cannot have freedom of religion without freedom from religion. It's very simple. If the government can take a vote tomorrow and decide that the state religion is Islam and we are now going to follow Sharia Law, then you don't have freedom of religion. That was exactly the intent of the founders. They didn't want government in their church and they didn't want your church in their government.
“Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of a religion…”
The is what gives you freedom from religion. Your government is prohibited from telling you what to believe. The exact phrase Freedom Of Religion is not there either.
I never said that religion should be barred from everyday life. You are just repeating stuff you read in a chain letter with the bit about removing crosses from a veterans cemetery. Nobody is asking for that lol. The second part of the establishment clause is about people. The first part is about the government. Barring the government from establishing a religion is exactly what makes freedom of and from religion. Would you accept a state sponsored religion that was different from the one you practiced? What if the majority in this country moves from Christianity to something else? Will you just throw your hands up and say "Oh Well, Freedom of Religion NOT Freedom From Religion"? That is entirely the point. The government does not get to pick your religion. This has nothing to do with what you pick for yourself.
Every time the conservatives/republicans get any sort of power the bible thumpers go apeshit with their godliness. Chill out with the god shit and we might be able to hold on to power for more than one term. Bible thumpers are as bad as the LGBTQ crowd. We want freedom from your bullshit, too.
It's amazing how many here blast me over my handle, as if it means I'm some sort of shill or don't know my shit. I've had it for years going back to Voat.
So, are you calling Q a "Bible Thumper" who is going "apeshit"?
Considering the FACT that there are 196 Q drops that reference GOD directly, and dozens that quote scripture from the Bible, it seems that maybe this isn't the right movement for you.
It is people like you who have turned their backs to God who have gotten us to where we are today. I'm sure there tons of sights for atheists such as yourself, you may find happiness there rather than following a movement that totally recognizes GOD and his ultimate power.
I don't normally pray for Shills, but I'll make an exception for you.
No, I said keep shoving your religion down everyone's throat and the pendulum will swing back towards the liberals every time. 1 step forward, 2 steps backwards because you and people like you try to tell other PEOPLE how to think. Fuck your god and fuck your religion. FREEDOM, motherfucker. That means freedom from your religious doctrine. Practice what you preach and you'd have a lot more allies. Keep pushing your god(s) on everyone and you alienate the vast majority of people. It's the 21st century. Stop trying to make people believe in your Santa Claus nonsense with human-made book of bullshit. Shut the fuck up about Jeebus and let people live their fucking lives.
Why do you refuse to explain why you follow someone (Q) who tells you to Trust God, and God Wins, and quotes Bible scripture so many times if you are so dead set against there being a true God?
100% this. A lot of people don't realize that states actually had official religions in the beginning.
The contacts that people don't get because most of them are ignorant of history, is that the people that founded the nation were in many cases fleeing from countries with State government mandated religions where it made it a crime to have any type of theological differences. Kings and church of England for example worked hand in hand and you couldn't speak out against either one of them.
Amen to that!... "Religion and government are certainly very different things, instituted for different ends; the design of one being to promote our temporal happiness; the design of the other to procure the favor of God, and thereby the Salvation of our Souls. While these are kept distinct and apart, the Peace and welfare of society is preserved, and the ends of both are answered. By mixing them together, feuds, animosities, and persecutions have been raised, which have deluged the world in blood, and disgraced human nature." John Dickinson, 1776
What's amazing is that history is repeating itself. In colonial times, there was state mandated religion. You could only get married by XYZ denomination of church, and you couldn't say XYZ blasphemous thing. The founders of America abolished all of that so the people would be free to live their lives according to their own individual religious beliefs (so long as those religious beliefs didn't infringe upon the natural rights of others).
Now we have liberals trying to bring back state mandated religion, except instead of some Christian denomination, it's called "science" or "secularism." You can't say that gender is immutable from birth. You can't talk about your Christian faith in the public square. You must inject yourself with the vax. You must believe that black people are oppressed and white people are the oppressors. Etc. Etc. And if you don't conform to the new dogma you're a bigot and you get cancelled.
It's literally the same battle the American founders fought.
So for all you Atheists and non believers, tell me why there are 196 Q drops that directly mention GOD!
Why did Q quote Bible scriptures so often?
Go ahead, I have all day.........................
It's Freedom OF Religion, not Freedom FROM Religion.
It is freedom from persecution by the law for what you believe as well.
Not everyone dedicates themselves to an organized religion, or even any religion at all.
Exactly. Muslims and Christians would have non-believers at the guillotines otherwise.
196 Q drops mention God directly. So why are you here?
I am here because I realize, as do many others here regardless of differences in religion (or lack thereof), that the rights and freedoms enshrined in writing by the extremely well-read and well-educated men who founded our Republic have been under attack for more than a hundred years by moral and immoral authoritarians alike. Not to fucking be friends with you, you closed minded religious fanatic.

One cannot have freedom of religion without freedom from it. The founders knew this and explicitly said it in their writings.
Show me where the freedom FROM is written, I seemed to missed that part
The from is included from inheritance. The government cannot pass any laws telling you what religion to follow. This means you have the freedom FROM being forced to be a Catholic, Protestant, Infidel, or whatever becomes popular in the future. This includes no religion at all. You can imply "inheritance" all you want, it doesn't make it part of any of our documents.

.........or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,
You selectively chose to only c&p the part you like.
This was only included to stop a state ran religion like what was present in England.
It in no way applies that religion should be barred from our everyday lives, or that having a cross in a veterans cemetery is somehow illegal.

Yes, they are. No need to replace one cabal with another.
"A Handmaid's Tale"
Spoken a true Queef!
It's amazing how many here blast me over my handle, as if it means I'm some sort of shill or don't know my shit. I've had it for years going back to Voat.
Buuuuuuuuuuubye!
Is that supposed to mean something and am I supposed to care?

I have a life.
100% this. A lot of people don't realize that states actually had official religions in the beginning.

And how would non-believers be treated?
The way that they treat me.
Good because subjugation won't fly.
