Government DOES relinquish its power when it senses danger.
Back in the 90s, we republicans were SICK of the garbage going on.
I believe it was Tennessee which decided that they would pass an income tax. The patriots didn't like it.
So they showed up at the capital.
In large numbers.
With guns.
And they said, "If you want to go home, you will pass a bill that says, "NO INCOME TAX, EVER."
The state police was called. They didn't see any crimes being committed, and they ran away.
The national guard was called, and said, "Not my problem." And they ran away.
The governor was begging the president to send in federal troops. And the president said, "Nope."
IIRC, in the middle of the night, the house and senate of Tennessee decided that income taxes were a bad idea. Bill passed. On to the governor's desk. Signed.
I should say government never willingly or without outside pressure relinquishes its power. Of its own devices, it never will, and it grows and grows and grows.
WE THE PEOPLE are the check and balance against the government. If the government fails in its duty to protect the rights of the individual, then according to our founding document, the Declaration of Independence, which is part of the organic law of our country by virtue of its historical significance, then we must exert our pressure upon government to get back to what it is supposed to be doing.
In Texas you dont have to even wait that long. If someone enters your property and it is onvious they mean you or your property harm , long rifles with scopes can take of that shit from a good distance.
All the "chicken little" doomers have no idea what would happen to cops that tried to go all totalitarian on the population they are supposed to protect.
All these comparisons to situations in the past where countries succumbed to leftist totalitarian takeovers are places where only the government had guns...
Currently in the US there are MORE than 2 guns for every man woman and child, with the total number growing by about 20 million guns per year.
We have the 2nd Amendment here in the US precisely to solve this type of problem. The founding fathers were geniuses.
The police are the standing army the Founders warned us about.

Same applies for big companies ! Seems since everything is owned by a foreign country your best interest is not at hand..
It's at this point the tree starts getting watered....
Our tree is thirsty and wilting

Sorry to point this out but the door breacher is standing in the kill tunnel, just saying
yep, this lad definitely talking about minecraft
Yeah, he is "doin it rong", but in spite of all the tactical gear, he's just a dumb cop playing dress-up (but with real weapons). Go figure...
You better have more fire power than that😬
I wouldn't say NEVER, but I would say it's pretty goddamn rare.
Every force has an equal and opposite reaction
(in amogus)
Time for another 1776
Let them come and I'll sweep the leg like Bruce Lee on roids with Dunlaps disease.
Or they are going door to door seeding a new hell upon us.
As soon as the threshold is crossed... Smile, wait for flash!

I would just hide behind a car in the garage and wait for them to arrive for that happy moment.
There are reasons why i am ancap. This is but one of them.
True, but it has been taken away. Just say'n...
