Just like last year’s “Wayfair” scandal… the same shit..crazy prices for cabinets & pillows...
And rugs with children's names and blood splatters stitched into them.
They were either selling the kids or their pizza maps (clith wgere the raped child's blood dplatters from excessive fierce insertion.
This needs to END ASAP
71016 is probably the birthdate of the child
Apu was Indian... so maybe its a Indian baby?
Don’t know why a lego set would cost $600 in the first place, I would be suspect with that amount honestly. The $8,888.88 is a dead give away they are selling something else entirely. Either that or they are hoping someone is really stupid and willing to actually pay that much for a damn lego set.
Lego has been more of a stable currency than most for the past ~10-20 years. They pretty much only go up in value if it's an external IP. I've seriously considered legitimately investing in purchases to sit on in mint condition and resell like, 10 years later for 200% or something.
That said, obviously, $8,888 is above even the most expensive collector stuff I've seen bought and sold. I think the most expensive I remember was like $2,000 for a 1-made large I think Star Wars set or something that had like an actual gold brick or some shit, IDK though it was a long ass time ago.
Lego thinks a lot of their stuff is pure gold. And people buy it, too. $600 is a bit steep, tho.
That said, I'd like one of those $400 Star Wars pieces they have. But max I'm paying is $75-100. So, I'm not their target demographic 😂.
That's how children are sold on Wayfair also!
Take.them.down!!!
As a coin collector I see this all the time, I always figured they were just looking for rich suckers who are drunk online shopping or something. But perhaps not.

Lego faggot here that has bought and sold lego on ebay. and that set number is legit and the kwik-e-mart set has been long retired. Retired sets do triple or more in value as time goes on. This one more so considering it's one of two large simpsons sets lego made
600 though seems what would be the current market rate for this. I believe this was 150 to 200 when it was first released.
As for the near 9k asking price you see this a lot on ebay where a person will ask for a stupid amount. You can ask all you want but what it sells for is a different story. Even in listing shown you can make an offer lower than the asking price. Sellers do this in hope of finding someone desperate willing to overpay or to make sure they don't sell below market value.
Basically there are plenty of things coming out right now that is showing progress from the audits to lawsuits etc....this seems more of a distraction to me than anything else.
I have to figure out how to hunt these guys down. Or set them up.
I dont think its human trafficking. I think it is coms like the dog coms we see. there have been sevral references to Legos in the news. I think it might lego coms are professional hits and special ops.....this is just me looking for another explanation.
Whatever it is, Its not selling Lego...
Eh, maybe if it where a Game Stop store lego set...
OMG...considering the Wayfair debacle, you really are ignorant...Why would someone want to sell a "lego" set for a price that NOBODY will buy at that Price...? Not logical and makes no sense...
Examples of this are easy to find on ebay.
Search basic at first, 1996 (any car make) Volkswagen in this case. Sort by price high to low and look for anomalies. Do a specific search on a suspect item and narrow it down. Sort exact matches.

Gotta disagree due to personal experience. Ive sold plenty of 80s action figures for what would be construed as "insane" prices. Truth is, geeks will drop several grand on a single item. Same goes for Legos. Check out the early 90s Space Monorail. Open box and missing pieces it still sells for $800-1000.
Shouldn't they be monitoring all sales over like 5 grand for weird shit like this?
Monitoring tends to start at 10k by the feds.
And the FBI is pro-trafficking.
Wayfair and Ebay are about as honorable as CNN and NBC.
