It's not a vaccine, it's a therapeutic (assuming it actually works per the science they've made public). They literally had to change the definition of vaccine in order to call this a vaccine.
It makes no claim to prevent infection or transmission of the virus. So, high infection rates as people go back to normal life is expected; again, per the science.
Tbh, this is good news (assuming lower than average deaths rates). The natural antibodies are what will really protect us and give us true herd immunity. We need to get everyone infected and healed as fast as possible.
I do think more of an effort needs to be made with regards to the fact that it is a therapeutic. Vaccine implies complete 'protection' and eradication. While I know from a science standpoint that is not the case - I think the success of measles vax is 95% - this is a war of words. 'I have decided not to take the therapeutic.'
