Nice, I would have unloaded a bombastic and vitriolic summation of the state of affairs, my estimation of her expertise and her betrayal of her Hippocratic oath.
My V.A. doc, a combat doc, became unhinged over a small fold in my authorized mask-his, a cute cloth mask (NOT authorized) muffled his rant over vaxxed becoming anti-vax and unvaxxed being petri dishes. He is wound a little tight..
You’re lovely. I legit had a heart pounding panic attack when gently let her have it. When i had calmed down and we finished the visit, she reminded me that i needed a mask, said she didnt feel comfortable being in the same room with me, then left to get me a mask. It was the creepiest twilight zone kinda shit, dude....
I hope i made her feel bad & think. She had been my doc for 20 years. I told her she never learned about masks in medical school. I no longer respect her opinion
As a physician I call bullshit. You didn’t see 160 patients today….that’s a patient every 5 min for 13.333333 hours straight without any break. But I do agree it’s all a sham
Well, in his or her defense, his/her practice could have seen that many patients. He/she may be medical director. Just sayin’ I find it plausible. I agree it’s a sham.
"Today I saw 160 patients." is the qualifying statement meaning that person say's that's how many they saw. There are no practices in Urgent Care and most of the people seeing patients are APN's or NP's not actual physicians. And yes it's all a sham.
I’m not a doctor, nurse, or anything but I have been in offices where they load up the rooms and the doctor sees many patients almost simultaneously. They go from room to room, empty them, fill them. Plus a lot of the time the nurse does most of it, so the doctor doesn’t have to stay long.
I am a nurse, but I would not chose to do so again. Back in the 1970’s it was about the patient, now it is about the documentation, paper work, meeting government regulations, reimbursement-money, control of physicians through hospital affiliation/administration, politics. The hospitals are lawyered up-retainers with all major law firms makes it nearly impossible to sue hospitals for malpractice, if you can find one with enough gumption to take on the hospitals. It is all about drugs, even hospice is medicated euthanasia. Nurses entering the profession today are for the most part non-thinking, lazy twits. Medicine has gone down the tubes. Keep yourself healthy and avoid doctors and hospitals.
It used to be nurses and doctors spent time at the bedside evaluating the patient, getting a decent history, exam, etc.. Now go to the hospital wards and they are on the fucking computers nearly the entire time.
And check out what they put in the computers. I was admitted about 6 times 2019-2020 (before covid). They never asked me but put false statements in my admission and discharge summaries. Such as never married (was married twice), lives with children (I live alone) 20/20 vision (I wear bifocals or 1 pr glasses to read, another pair to drive), Activities of daily living normal (I'm handicapped), wrong PCP and pharmacy listed. They had listed meds I never took. I found this in the discharge summary they wanted me to sign. Oh how pissed off the nurse was when she had to go back to the computer to print out a corrected report. She literally started yelling at me so in the same tone and volume I said We could yell back and forth so what does that accomplish. She said I'm so frustrated. I said You're frustrated? I'm the one who is sick.
Absolutely right. A woman who volunteered in our Dept for years came in one day slurring, dragging her left foot, left arm kept bent. We told her please go to your doctor; looks like you had a stroke. She said she did, had tests that were negative and told to come back in 6 months. So we helped her to our ER. She died a few days later.
We then told our Dept Chief and he said that per insurance (Medicare) you cant treat/admit a patient without documentation of the diagnosis. I said there are always a chance of false negatives but just look at her you can see. He said thats just the way it is.
I have long thought all of this - thank you for confirming. Keep yourself healthy as well, fren - I can imagine it wasn't easy to come to this conclusion. One of my best friends is a nurse - the kind you'd want to have caring for you. She's got a big heart and a wonderful bedside manner. Beautiful human being. Being a nurse is all she ever wanted to do. It's not a decision one makes lightly, and I know how much of your life you devote to your job. This must be so disappointing for you, and that sucks. Take care and God bless you! :)
I am getting rid of health insurance for my entire family. I never plan to go to the doctors again for anything less than a broken arm. I would choose a small private urgent care over an emergency room in all cases.
I suppose Ill look into it just in case. Im tempted to say no to all insurance except car insurance or self defense. Ill be saving about 5000 dollars a year without health insurance alone (family policy). Considering the insurance requires a deductible before they pay a percentage of treatment, I could be saving a lot of money. I am going to have a baby in 7 months or so and even doing the math I am saving money without the insurance! What a scam!!
Actually it is possible. Usually the PA-C sees the patient then tells the doc the findings. Sometimes he comes in to see for himself, sometimes just tells the PA-C what to do. Its possible a Dr can spend 1 minute with the patient.
Here's a good story. A friend of mine was in our small community hospital and friends with her roommate. Curtain between them was drawn as her friend was being taken for xrays. They both had the same doctor (an old-timer everyone knows). Doc comes in and has a conversation with the friend's empty bed. My friend recognized his voice, peered through the curtain and verified. When her friend returned she was told what happened. Of course insurance was charged for a hospital visit. I'd be interested in what notes he recorded in her chart.
I lost it on my doc yesterday when she kept telling me to pull my mask up. It wound up on the ground, and she is no longer my doctor.
Thank you for telling the truth 🙏🏻❤️

As a doc that actually sees covid patients , he is a mental case
It was offputting for sure, but, my 1st Amendment rights would be suppressed should I even attempt to present facts..
Wow. I usually ask the patients to take it off True

Yup. Even physicians can be victim to the propaganda. It shows how little common sense they have and perhaps even less professional knowledge.
I am embarrassed for these people. I am angry at the conspirators
I hope i made her feel bad & think. She had been my doc for 20 years. I told her she never learned about masks in medical school. I no longer respect her opinion

That’s right !

Believe it or not. It’s true.

Bingo !
Nope, I saw 100at least. I’m a beast.
PA saw the rest. It’s true, whatever you want to think.

Yes/ I’m ashamed of how the hospital has failed

Agree. Hospital systems can be quite a mess

God Bless.
Well my daughter left nursing over the bullshit. She loved it initially and now says she regrets ever going into the field. She was great at it too.
Maybe she could find a nice holistic type practice? Also had a lady at our church in MO that left nursing to become a doula.
Yea. The hospital systems really do suck
Here’s my question Doc. Did you get the Jab?
FFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUCCCCKKK NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
WOULDNT TOUCH IT WITH A TEN FOOT POLE !!!!!!!!
Thanks Doc. Are you seeing many incidents of vaccine injury ?
Yes I am.
Yup and it makes me sick
What ever happened to "Do No Harm"??? Is it just a quaint expression from days gone by???
No, it means a lot to me.
Did you know that phrase is also used in casting spells: With harm to none especially me, so mote it be 3 x 3.
I did not know this-I just felt 3 ghostly Gibbs to the back of my head though... 😁
I read that 96% of the doctors took it. I guess they want to take us down with them.
A lot of them have. As I’ve gone through Med school, residency, I would say I am concerned that half of all docs are not independent thinkers
I work in a children's hospital... TONS of RSV.
They don't update on c-19 numbers anymore and haven't for some time.
I hear we have a lot of nurses out sick, though...
Yup I’ve been seeing that. Same shit different year
I am getting rid of health insurance for my entire family. I never plan to go to the doctors again for anything less than a broken arm. I would choose a small private urgent care over an emergency room in all cases.
get catastrophic insurance just in case of a bad accident.
I suppose Ill look into it just in case. Im tempted to say no to all insurance except car insurance or self defense. Good job. Yes I agree, catastrophic coverage
It makes perfect sense to pay for Drs visits when needed
Most thinking people do.
Pal, I’m no goose stepper. Private company. I keep it professional, and I have freedom of speech
You're telling me you saw 160 patients in one day?
Feels like you made a typo there...
Nope. I saw 100 of them, my assistant saw the rest I co-signed the charts

Perhaps airy and positive?? 😉
Yep I had to go to the ER a few times when I was pregnant. I was always in the Covid ward for "Covid like simptoms but everyone was
Not a one
