Teachers are PUBLIC SERVANTS, and as such, have NO PRIVACY RIGHTS when it comes to PUBLIC CLASSROOM STUDIES. Point blank, end of discussion. Why they NEA was even allowed to file those court petitions is beyond me, except for the fact that they're trying to use lawfare to silence her, baning on the fact that no attorney would ever sign on to represent her and her family.
A lot of people seem to be forgetting their place these days (politicians, teachers, doctors, the CDC)

when I was a kid in a soviet kinder garten we were shamed and punished for telling our parents about how we were treated and how we were punished. You are gettung there, my western friends.

Time to put a hard stop to that. It's not CRT which they take as a given. Now they act like the child belongs to them which is how the Communists think. The child is now theirs to mold and shape into a good little comrade who will tell them what they want to know about the parent. That would include sending police to arrest the mother for not being a good parent and then child "protective" services will take the kid and do what they want with them. Think of it as cancer. Cancer keeps going, never satisfied. The only way to stop it is to surgically remove it. The mother needs to move her child to a private school and away from that union. There needs to be a counter suit filed against them but we all know that Blue states with liberal judges will side with the union. Nothing good can come out of any of it.
The mother needs to get her child into a private school and if none are available, possibly move across the state line. Rhode Island is tiny so if she lives near CT or MA see if there's a school there. Next they'll be saying her child wants to be a different gender and they'll start hormone treatments without saying anything. Teachers unions are bad and getting worse. This is a perfect example.
Excellent answer. My wife lived in that exact situation growing up in a communist country, that is exactly how it operated.
In USA we call them the Democrats.
MA is just as bad. I'm fighting with my daughters middle school right now and have been this past year. 60 year old single father of a 13 year old daughter. My only child and if you think these scum are gonna get her indoctrinated into a socialist life they've got another thing comin to'em.

Well that seems backwards...
There's all kinds of horrible stuff your kids pick up at school that is not even in a category that could be expressed to you by your kids. Just little subtle things that alter the contents of the mind and don't emerge until it's too late.
Furthermore they have felt as though kids are theirs firs and yours second for many years. Do they ask how they can support and strengthen your family and how they can help in home life? No, they try to dominate home life and get pissed if you don't back then up on everything they are trying to do with your kids, and they will only call them you lr child in a condescending way, or when they are laying it on you how it's your responsibility to discipline "your" child for their sake.
In any other context they will say "your student", or "your 6th grader" or whatever grade, meaning that they are a student of that school more than they are anything else including more than a member of your home, household, and family.
They need to be completely boycotted and parents need to start talking about a great reset and building back better just to rub it in their faces.

And why are we keeping our kids in public schools? Take them out and your tax dollars go with them.
