UPDATE: Someone pointed out, this being forensic software, it could be very walled off, sandboxed, etc, with no access to the file system, read only or not. The point being, my argument about not DIFF'ing, falls flat if there is no access by the file system. That said, I'm resourceful, I would find a way to dump the file structure somewhere, somehow. That's what they want right? Resourcefulness.
I don't know how many of you are IT guys, but for those that are... what the actual fuck is going on, on that stage?
I thought CodeMonkeyZ was supposed to be some computer savant or some shit... but he doesn't even know Windows? Really? Well, you sound like a lame Linux poseur then.
If you were not watching the same thing I was... they are looking like a group of monkeys trying to fuck a football. That's racist isn't it? Speciest? Monkeyist?
They have (at least) two images of the voting server. (Don't know why they call something that isn't supposed to connect to a network, a server, if anything it's a dumb client)
And CodeMonkeyZ the genius computer savant is strolling randomly through the files.
Bro, you're on international stream... DO SOMETHING!
They have a physicist, an IT guy, and CMZ... and not one of them know what the fuck they are doing up there.
Find the registry files... DIFF THEM!
DIFF the program files, (x86) and program data directories.
DIFF the user directories!
DIFF the FUCKING windows directory!
DIFF FUCKING SOMETHING!
DO AN ACTUAL BIT LEVEL SEARCH FOR STUFF, FFS!
The only hypothesis I can form is:
-
CMZ is a bullshitter, caught out on live stream.
-
They are flexing and flashing the files to scare (stupid collaborators) people into flipping, and aren't actually TRYING to do ANYTHING.
Oh, I'm also bothered by them being flummoxed over what I think I heard them talking about an IIS file from 1997? Uh, yeah. Win NT 4.0 SP1 came out in 1997.
Pull an iso image from each drive, and start a torrent. I’ll find some shit. Then there is no question if something is made up. Anyone with a copy can perform the same steps, and get the same results. Make it provable by anyone. I feel your frustration.
That would be the right thing to do.
TY for this. I don’t know anything about this stuff, but even I had a problem when he said he didn’t know windows. I had my kid, yes my HS kid watch for a minute. He started laughing when someone said they didn’t know how to share files. My kid was laughing and saying to start a torrent. I have no idea what that means, but after reading your comment, I have a little more respect for my kid.
Well, I know NOTHING about computers, and their lack of organization made me turn it off, too. However, I watched last night and it wasn't bad. This is during the day when most people are working, so maybe after 6PM EST or so it will rev up. In the end, they probably have good info, so the lack of presentation skills is just annoying, not devastating. As long as the content is there, they can push their story.
Yeah Im in the same boat I have work to do I'll catch the highlights (if there are any - but this isn't giving me confidence)
I'm plowing through it, recording all of it and there are some good bits.
Will see about cutting it up for highlights later.
Oh, it is not just me, then? I felt they did have a presentation using the pcaps but changed it at the last minute because this demo would be somehow better. For a demo like this to work you need to have some kind of plan to show something that you can logically explain.
These guys, supposed experts, look more like me trying to persuade a reluctant Windows update to work!
Mind you, didn't one of their experts give a powerpoint presentation yesterday that he failed to complete? He just got to the exciting part but had to stop because he was not running the correct presentation. If you cannot get a pre-prepared presentation to work it bodes ill for a live demo of any sort.
dont mix up the production value of the show with the importance of the content. The production value is very low, the idea of digging on a computer without knowing exactly what you will find is not great. But this is not t.v. and what they are doing is exactly how it works in real life. The findings are damning evidence that Dominion wiped the logs in order to hide evidence.
The findings are, they reimaged the voting machine. Nothing was deleted (per se).
OR...could it be that they are working through so much interference that it just really looks like a mess???
Huh? They are on stage, completely uninterfered with, and unencumbered, with free reign to do as they like with their images... and are just strolling through the file listings like you're walking in the park in spring, not conducting a CSI level forensic investigation of the dead body on the sidewalk.
It's starting to smell in here...
Wow - maybe you should of run the show 🤔
this^ I've been to a couple of Mike Lindell's rallies, and they were very well thought out, so it's obvious the man is intelligent.
I tend to think he's purposely being a lightening rod to draw out the remaining 'doubters'. just look at the shills across the various forums attacking him, obvious it's coordinated.
he's also a very religious man, and seems to have no problem setting his own personal needs aside for the greater good, so I'm just thankful he's bringing attention to fraud. funny how many are bothered by that.
Probably best not to let others know that you're retarded. This is unwatchable and too vague.
Yeah this is retarded
Retarded - why are you trying to watch something that is unwatchable ??? Duh !!😂😂😂😂
I'm not it was a waste of time unfortunately.
I have a nice life that doesn't involve people trying to suicide me.
coward
Suck a dick faggot, I EARNED my time.
Honestly, it is fucking infuriating to watch. I have no doubt that we have it all, but THIS WAS YOUR FUCKING SHOT! With all of the funding and brilliant people you have, hos did this end up being the presentation?!
Interesting. I'm pretty sure the monkey is a UNIX guy, so you'd think he'd be very familiar with diff/sdiff etc and he'd know how fast it would be to do the actual comparisons. Maybe he doesn't know if it's available on a standard Windows distribution. I know that I had to port diff to Dos back in the day because it was a UNIX only utility back then,
That is the most confusing... I don't see a terminal window, or PowerShell win open anywhere.
If he is *nix, he knows how to look at files efficiently. Files are life if you sysadmin outside of Windows.
Maybe he can only access the server via the client app that they're using. I'm not an admin and I have no idea what that app does or can do. The monkey man has to know his stuff on the network side because he was the admin for both 4chan and 8chan and you know those sites are under constant attack.
That's a good point, since it's forensic software, it may keep it walled off.
I assumed that it may be available to the system, just shared in a different userspace with 'read only' set to EVERYONE. But walled-off, probably makes legal eagles happier.
I'm not an IT guy and even I thought this was amateur hour. You don't go on live TV without a clear idea of what you are doing and looking for as well as where you will find it. Are you telling me they couldn't have been looking through this shit last night or last week and located all the stuff they wanted to show us?
Get these clowns off the air and show us the goods.
Anyone have a clip or a timestamp of this mess? I just tuned in and I'm trying to scrub through it, but not quite finding what's being talked about here...
No what we have is a bunch of shills.
Yes, if you can get me a feed that you can scroll on. All see to be locked on LIVE and the scroll bar just bounces back to the end, or like on LindellTV, no scrollbar.
If you find a scrollable version, the timestamp would be... looks at bare arm... looks around... how long have I been standing here... WHAT YEAR IS THIS??? Um, oh yeah, it would be when I posted this, minus 20 min to watch them and go wtf... so, 100 min before THIS reply.
I appreciate everyone at the symposium, but this Dr. Frank guy needs to shut his trap already. He keeps talking over people and interrupting. Needs to humble himself and leave the ladies alone, comes off as a creep.
....And stop saying BOOM. He's full of himself. I'm not a doomer, but this guy is really irritating.
For me, it all started when they couldn't figure out the stupid teleconferencing. Even I know how to dial into a Webex or Zoom call and share my screen. It went way downhill from there.
Yeah, I just heard that, and I'm like... didn't we just spend 18 months Zooming, and you're NOT SET UP FOR THAT?
I had to turn it off when they didn't start by diffing things from the two images.
I sure hope this whole thing is just a part of the show to get state legislatures to audit the election
Someone pointed out to me, that I may be wrong headed in that the images may be locked in that app, and you cannot access it via the file manager, which means you wouldn't be able to diff (easily).
I'm not sure if you can copy files OUTSIDE of their sandbox though... and that is what I would have tried next.
either way, they should have tried to explain some of the items that more technical people would be thinking. they spent plenty of time trying to help people that don't know what a log file is :)
Yes their heart is in the right place. But I’m fucking embarrassed for them for me and for all of us
I've got a nearly 20 year career in IT. I've been an admin, an engineer, an architect, and so on. I was just shaking my head through all of that. While eventually they stumbled upon something useful, they had no idea what they were actually looking at/for.
They should have immediately done a diff between the images to get a catalog of the things that were changed by the Dominion employee. Then go over those changes to see if anything is interesting. NEXT, start looking through the logs.
There was definitely something to the POST requests to the SOAP endpoint. SOAP is an older API standard that used XML for payloads (it was a huge pain in the ass to work with, BTW). That's been replaced by much less verbose standards like REST and JSON.
But those POST requests were active communication with the system. The logs didn't look like they contained much, if any, of the payload information. But you could dissect those SOAP services to find out what they do and what they're capable of.
FUCK this pissed me off. It looked so incompetent.
Exactly my thoughts, but someone pointed out, those images might be sandboxed in their app. And it might not have any extension into the file system, allowing a typical DIFF program to work.
Regardless... my next attempt would be to copy the files OUT of the sandbox, to a new folder on the system, to then DIFF and search inside the files.
Yep. A bit concerning it is left around. It can be powerful to a blackhat or bad actor.
Very odd too because; JUST FOR MY PERSONAL COMPUTER, I turn off/disable every service I never plan on using. Policy lockdown on work PCs.
It IS annoying that THIS could be the desired effect.
The most annoying aspect of Q-dom.
Agreed, tuned-out as it appeared to be total amateur hour. I'm not sure what they thought they were doing...
I think actual monkeys are smarter than this codemonkeyz guy
I'm taking notes to ask my son. I love those on this board that know puters. I know enough to get in trouble. That's why I have a thirty year old computer geek for a son. I would love any info any can put out to explain this. I think I understand Forensic copy but if the information is erased doesn't that mess up the back up. What exactly is SOAP that they are talking about? Sorry but when I learned puters it was DOS on Commodore 64 then I just learned basic Windows. Yeah I suck and my son is going to start teaching me Linux next month for my next computer.
And that's a great question, and once again why I question CMZ's abilities, because the second I saw a SOAP reference ("archaic" 20 year old XML messenger system, Simple Object Access Protocol, NOT messenger like chat, but computer control) I would have done a dump of all SOAP files, then I would have done a cross image diff for those soap files. Then I would have seen what type of access and control those files give.
*edit, someone mentioned DIFF might not be available because images might be sandboxed.
Thank you, searching for the acronym I kept getting all kinds of explanations and soap manufactures. Now i can start digging.
Mike isn't know for picking top notch IT folks. Look at his successful launch of FrankSpeech...
The thing that's been hurting me the most is the belief in the collection of IP addresses. Like VPNs, relay networks, and botnets don't exist and aren't possibly used by nation state actors...
I agree with others, release the data and let us real pros go at it. What good does not democratizing the data do? Especially for this long.
FWIU, it is publicly available? I just don't know how/where to get it.
I wonder how much of his personal asset stash Lindell sunk into this Bozo Brigade. While I respect and applaud the effort.....so far.....meh.
I heard 17 million
This is truly a sad state. I am embarrassed. Had to turn it off. It's easy enough to see why the smart ones who know what is going on are doing everything out of public site. Never seek recognition is the first rule of this shit.
Sorry it went over your head, you could have just asked instead of lashing out like a leftist.
Then enlighten us oh sage instead of pointing at the bundle of sticks and declaring such.
So, you're just a regular faggot. Got it.
Lol. I hope the people around here aren't depending on pieces of shit like you when the SHTF
Shilly remark calculated to instill doubt in Q.
We have it all. Just not showing it all.
So is mocking Q's repeated reassurance that "we have it all."
Despite downvotes I dislike mockery of Trump, Q, or this massive mission to save humanity so I call it out whenever I see it. Nothing personal
Well, stating something that is obvious to all IT people, isn't mocking, any more than pointing out someone is fat is mocking them.
Either it's mocking or it's a harsh factual statement that is said perhaps without tact...
doesn't un-fact the fact though.
Samesies... ;-]=
Just for clarity "We have it all, blah blah" was the mocking part.
If you point out to their face that they're fat, and you're not their physician discussing a weight-loss plan, then yes, that too is mocking them.
I'm going to leave this as you just happen to have a different definition of the word mocking that you're operating under, which doesn't coincide with the normal one that most everyone else uses. That's fine, it's a free country, but it can lead to misunderstanding.
Done with this, take it easy
