No kidding. Enough of trying to keep our most precious resource in a failed experiment. Time to move on with our feet and our money to either home school or develop a parallel education system. Why do we keep beating our heads against the wall with these brain dead communists. I am afraid we have been asleep at the wheel too long to make any meaningful change in that system. It has had decades to turn into the sick indoctrination machine that turns our youth into unrecognizable radical marxists.
How many phones does a family need if they are at home? Do you really need cable TV? There are many places where families can trim back. Are not our kids worth it? I understand the single parent in many ways doesn't have much of a choice. But, I have known single parents that managed to get their children a different education. Where there are two parents in the home, there really is no excuse why one is not at home with their children. We MUST turn this ship around. If we do not take hold of raising the next generation, any hard won efforts made at this point will be lost with them. I know a local church that has decided they are starting their own school completely supported by the members. Our children are the future and they are worth investing in.
I wholeheartedly agree— my first kid was a 1977 issue and we had our own business and kid was with us 24/7– second life kid was 1991- dad stayed home and did ranch work hauling kid with him — by school time I adjusted schedule to take kid to school and pick up and neither kid was ever in daycare—
You won’t have lots of crap but your kids will benefit by your presence— if you can’t do that cause you need/ want the crap— get a cat— please don’t get a dog and crate it all day — cats don’t need you — kids and dogs do
