This isn't a smart move. His letter of resignation is a request, the Marine Corps doesn't have to let him go immediately upon request, and if need be will hold him for Court Martial. Article 89 of the UCMJ could really bite him in the ass.

Umm this is badass until I just realized that this is almost 100% some kind of a staged event. They keep putting these carrots out like this so we don’t start to collectively rise up. Stuff like this Wendy Togers, the audit team, Lin Wood, Mrs the Kraken herself... the only thing this has so far accomplished is giving hope to at least 81 million people and so far it’s worked. The promise of action being taken and justice, REAL justice served, we will patiently wait for this nightmare to finally end. Repeatedly over and over one psyops after another we’ve stayed quiet. We have sat idly by as our freedoms have been stripped away, little by little. We let it go on because we’ve been hit with a steady stream of “help is on the way” propaganda and since we’re good people, a little on the soft side, we believe it. And we take it.
