could be the rain washing residue.off the plants.
Any non organic things glowing?
Spray some tap water on one of the leaves of the same plant and re-take the photo?
Brilliant. I'll try this tonight when I get home
Glowies are near?
Watch the water!
Collect some samples of that water in a glass jar in case you don't get any answers and want to run more tests.
Tonic water glows under black light, from the quinine. If you put flowers in tonic water for a few hours, they'll glow quite nicely. 🙂
Also, a yellow highlighter pen soaked in water will make glowey water.
Zinc sulfide glows too, I think.
is this related to the blacklights that have been installed in street lights somehow?
I just got a blacklight to look for critters on my plants and went to check in the rain tonight and noticed the water droplets glow.
I do live under an AFB flight path.
Anyone have any thoughts or experiences with this? I'm hoping to catch enough of the rain in a jar to take to a chemist I know.
Also, urine glows under a black light. Maybe an animal peed on it. I'm hoping this is the case.
Have a dog, can confirm the blacklight pee-glow phenomenon. Our dog is innocent in this case, however.
This is highly unusual. I too live under an AFB flight plan. Next time it rains I'm going to do the same. Let us know what the chemist says. I'm highly curious. Thanks for posting this fren.
Blacklights are being erected in many cities and towns throughout the US,.they are being used to surveil, people, who have not been vaccinated,.,because those who have been vaccinated supposedly " glow in the dark "..!!
could be fungus or bacteria.
Did you look at other plants? Did they glow too?
