Can only speak for myself, but I also work for a fairly large retail company (lowest of the low men on the totem pole, barely made it on, honestly), and I try to keep my company name out of my social media.
It's not really about respecting the company, it's a sort of the principle of the thing kinda deal. Hard to explain.
If I get fired, it's a different story, (like when Pizza Slut used no call no shows to fire me even though they couldn't give me specific examples).
I work for a large chemical company that shares a name with the stock exchange. We got a cov19 email update about a week ago that said the company would not mandate the death shot because they respect peoples right to choose what's best for them. But masks are part of our PPE now. Without a mask, it's a PPE violation and punishable up to termination. Still total BS
I think a lot of companies, any one with a half decent lawyer, noticed that the vax they approved isn't commercially available in the US. Wait until they approve the Moderna or J&J then the mandates will really begin.
Just like mask mandates, customers need to punish businesses that force vax their employees and reward businesses that don’t. Start asking that question before spending money anywhere.
edit: I can bet any amount of money on it, the reason is their employees are mostly unionized... and the company has no legal bounds to enforce changes to the union agreements.
Ha. Union here. Good luck finding a Union that doesn’t blindly follow democratic policy. FOP and USPS have gone against the mandates, but as far as I know they’re the only ones.
AT&T has NOT mandated that Union employees or their first and second line managers get the jab. AT&T HAS mandated al other management employees, even those who work from home, get the jab. I have retained counsel and will be filing a Federal Lawsuit to stop the mandates in the very near future.
Wow this would be nice, I work for a large privately owned cable company that is sticking to their guns on this mandate. They are short staffed right now and are offering any warm bodies that want to work there 1k signing bonus and 1k after 90 days.. Times are tough for Tyrants right now. October 18th is my last day according to them if you don’t bend the knee and take the jab.
Yep I’m saying AT&T too… had a family member sue them and leave recently because they were about to permanently lay the persons entire shop off… was a close one but a W is a W after all lol
I was talking to the employment lawyer for a major midwest medical (hospital) system and he's basically like "we're going to be firing between 12k - 15k of our staff for not getting the vax out of 45k employees including doctors, pharmacists..."
Rochester Regional Health in NY is about to fire almost 1/2 of their staff, saying the fired will lose their pensions and cannot file for unemployment They are also not going to payout accrued vacation and sick time - and managers are being dicks letting people take their time... "we have to consider coverage". Fuck them and what they are doing.
The other day there was a news story about them (RRH) and URMC are starting a "Clinical Trial" of mRNA vaccines, and are looking for ppl 65 and older to sign up. WTF
I don’t know know how companies are able to operate knowing they will lose so many, the only thing I can think of is they cry to the government and they allow H1B visas to replace all the based employees.

Why does he have to hint it? He's anonymous he can just say what it is.
I'm guessing ATT, but we'll see. They are headquartered in Texas and likely have a much larger unvaxxed population.
Tmobile just announced a vaccine mandate yesterday, i'd be surprised if they reversed course in a single day.
Does this mean I have to get my phone vaccinated?
Just smear some horse paste over the screen. Keep away from the microphone and speaker holes, though.
It's times like this I wish we could buy gold for posts.
And the telephone masts.
Yeah I would like to know so I can keep an eye out for open positions.

If masks are PPE now, then they should fall under OSHA respirator rules and CO2 rules.
That's the whole point, they're going to pit the vaxxed against the unvaxxed by blaming the unvaxxed for the uncomfortable/unnecessary PPE
WINNING BIGLY! 💥
Good job. Keep pressing forward.

Love this, it restores my faith in humanity to see workers not being sheep!

That's like 25% of their workforce gone...
Probably the cleverest ones too!

Congrats
Fab news! These Woke/Bully Boy corporations all need to make big profits. Hit them where it hurts by suing them and not buying their products.
