hehe relax fren. i for one came in from CA but i didn't bring anything with me to taint the magic. technically though I'm "dual citizen" since i was raised in suburbs outside Phoenix as a kid.
Before the lockdowns i used to commute in CA freeway traffic every day.
Now i'm homesteading with chickens, ducks, rabbits, pigs, and go target shooting when i have the chance.
I want nothing better than AZ staying the most magical place in the southwest (and by extension the country)

Hey, I bleed red white and blue and moved here from commiefornia. I met many others that are true patriots. Not everyone are horrible liberals. CA is more red than they want you to know. I love it in yavapai county, simply gorgeous!
Too late there are droves of people moving to my small town. People from Cali, Nevada, Washington, Oregon its crazy see Uhauls everyday.

I bet most who've visited CA have never wandered from the coast and don't know that Death Valley is in CA. I drove from Sacramento to Lake Tahoe to Las Vegas and from all the variety of terrain I understand why so many movies were filmed there back in the day.

Well I will say Arizona is doing really well of late spearheading the awakening. How is it that Arizona kept sending NoName back to the senate all those years. Guess he was in with dominion too. Glad you are rid of him and glad you have some state leadership with a backbone of late.

its still a bit of a wildcard. Ducey for one is like this uniquely weird 50/50 mix of deep state and MAGA, so its hard to predict what he'll do at any given juncture, although he seems to be lately trying to make up for the election crap. Who knows what's in store with the next governor.

Meh, install a huge solar panel array to drive aircon units. I've stayed there in July/August. Beautiful but strange aroma - a mixture of turnip lanterns, hot bricks and rotting vegetation. (You get used to it.)

Arizona is still an armpit of a state. Everything here is shittier than it is pretty much anywhere else in the country. Oregon has better Mexican food.
