If it weren't for Arizona being Arizona, I'd move to Arizona.

Shh bby is ok

My state is just as red. We're good, fren.

smartbaum 6 points ago +6 / -0

hehe relax fren. i for one came in from CA but i didn't bring anything with me to taint the magic. technically though I'm "dual citizen" since i was raised in suburbs outside Phoenix as a kid.

Before the lockdowns i used to commute in CA freeway traffic every day.

Now i'm homesteading with chickens, ducks, rabbits, pigs, and go target shooting when i have the chance.

I want nothing better than AZ staying the most magical place in the southwest (and by extension the country)

No kidding. A bunch of Californians bought the house next door and it seems like they are turning into a drop house, there are so many.

Hey, I bleed red white and blue and moved here from commiefornia. I met many others that are true patriots. Not everyone are horrible liberals. CA is more red than they want you to know. I love it in yavapai county, simply gorgeous!

I live in Ca and right now Arizona looks darn good.

It always looks darn good. It has some of the most beautiful scenery on the planet.

It certainly has more sand than CA. <gdar>

I once ate a whole pint of malted ice cream in Carefree, AZ. Burped for a week! Ho Hum.

Have you ever been to CA?

Like half of it is a fucking desert, and its the third largest state in the Union.

I bet most who've visited CA have never wandered from the coast and don't know that Death Valley is in CA. I drove from Sacramento to Lake Tahoe to Las Vegas and from all the variety of terrain I understand why so many movies were filmed there back in the day.

Arab potentates used to buy our sand for landscaping. Apparently their sand isn't as nice.

Well I will say Arizona is doing really well of late spearheading the awakening. How is it that Arizona kept sending NoName back to the senate all those years. Guess he was in with dominion too. Glad you are rid of him and glad you have some state leadership with a backbone of late.

I'm sure my state will be along with the lawsuit soon, but I'm a little jealous Arizona drew first blood there.

its still a bit of a wildcard. Ducey for one is like this uniquely weird 50/50 mix of deep state and MAGA, so its hard to predict what he'll do at any given juncture, although he seems to be lately trying to make up for the election crap. Who knows what's in store with the next governor.

Kari Lake is talking the talk, and I suspect she'll have the opportunity to walk the walk.

Douchey does whatever satisfies his pocketbook. He can't be trusted. This came from AG Bronvich.

According to this Fox article:

It is "the first lawsuit against a policy that Republicans have slammed as an example of federal overreach."

Memorekt 2 points ago +2 / -0

What's going on with that audit though

2
riverbridger 2 points ago +2 / -0

Nothing burger! WTH? We moving the goal post AGAIN?!?!?! Sooooo tired of this shit!

1
lolwhut420 1 point ago +1 / -0

i know right like a few people dropped the red pills I'd given them and they'd been playing with after the nothing burder of an audit. :( :( :(

2
Merkava_4 2 points ago +2 / -0

The auditors sent the results to the Arizona Senate; when do we get to see them?

1
iamherefortheluls 1 point ago +1 / -0

what are they suing based on? there has yet to be any actual policy change through OSHA or executive order

2
ZerroDefex 2 points ago +2 / -0

For being a dick.

Vacationed there once and loved it, but man, what was up with all those break pad places in Tuscon?! Does the sand do a number on the breaks or something..?

Anyways, proud of Arizona too u/StickToThePlan. NGL, I wouldn't mind moving out there when I retire.

Yeah laugh at this Gen Xer thinking he's going to ever get a chance to retire.

If it weren't for Arizona being over-9000 degrees, I'd move there.

1
Greekish 1 point ago +1 / -0

Meh, install a huge solar panel array to drive aircon units. I've stayed there in July/August. Beautiful but strange aroma - a mixture of turnip lanterns, hot bricks and rotting vegetation. (You get used to it.)

1
the_todd 1 point ago +1 / -0

you get used to it

1
smartbaum 1 point ago +1 / -0

rural high elevation regions are not nearly as bad. if you prefer Tucson or Phoenix or Yuma, yeah that will suck.

1
bubble_bursts 1 point ago +1 / -0

A to Z my friend. It all started there (305th military batallion, Gen Flynn's batallion) and ends there (Audits)

1
AipacisAmericanenemy 1 point ago +1 / -0

I'm still holding my breath for hrc to get some jail time

1
BigMikey 1 point ago +1 / -0

Arizona is still an armpit of a state. Everything here is shittier than it is pretty much anywhere else in the country. Oregon has better Mexican food.

1
Fresno_Nightcrawler 1 point ago +1 / -0

Except the women are arguably the best in the country in the Phoenix metro.

What did they do to you Mikey?

1
weletthishappen 1 point ago +1 / -0

Did an audit really happen? Are you really sueing? What color is a unicorn? What does a nothing burger taste like?
