According to this report, there has been a total of one liver injury (ever) from Ivermectin in someone who had a specific parasite. They completely recovered within a few days according to the report.
Unless someone wants to dredge up actual fucking evidence instead of spreading fear for manipulative purposes, I am calling this one bullshit.
Lots and lots of meds cause liver damage like Lipitor and people take it for a lifetime with periodic liver function and enzyme testing. Many cholesterol meds cause liver damage yet less damaging to the body than very high cholesterol. You don’t take ivermectin except for a few days intermittently. I ever heard that it cause liver damage but your doctor was being a deceiving wanker. Either COVID isn’t as deadly as high cholesterol or he just wants to keep ivermectin out of Americans hands. Docs are trained to hold back on ivermectin in the U.S.A. since their medical school training.
There's all sorts of pearl-clutching about ivermectin right now to justify why they've banned it. I had a coworker telling me to throw out what I bought because it'll shred my intestines, destroy my lungs, and make me blind because it's not meant for people.
I told them I'd started treatment as soon as my test came back positive and I was put on leave - now that I'm over it, my breathing is more or less normal with minimal recovery needed. They looked skeptical. I told them my husband struggled with his breathing until he got desperate enough to swallow his pride about taking horse paste, and now he's bouncing back as well (went from coughing fits, barely able to get out of bed and walk to the bathroom without wheezing, to no coughing and being able to take the dog on short walks within a couple days).
Coworker insisted it was all just a coincidence, we got lucky, and we needed to stop before we killed ourselves.
If ivermectin caused liver damage, we'd have horses dropping dead from liver failure all over the place. As one who is part of the horse community, I can attest that in my decades of interaction with horses and horse people, it hasn't happened once.
And here's an interesting thing my farrier told me today. If one wants liquid ivermectin for livestock and goes to a vet to buy it, the vet has a large jug of ivermectin from which he pours enough for the customer's needs into a smaller bottle. The large bottle is clearly labeled 'for use in humans'. The farrier said he has seen this at two different vet offices.
I was trying to impress this upon a friend this weekend.
I don’t believe they (docs, et. al) research much these days, as a whole. I think they call up their pharma pusher and tell them what they have, the pharma pusher pushes, and viola! person receives a script and doc and pharma get paid… Change my mind.
I'm sure that if not taken correctly IVM can cause any number of problems. The same can be said for literally every substance you put in your body. For example, too much water taken over too quick of time can cause an imbalance in your blood chemistry that can lead to a heart attack. Tylenol is the number one OTC drug that causes liver damage by taking too much. I'm not a doctor so don't believe anything I say - do your own research and consult your doctor...but you may want to look into NAC if you plan on self-medicating, or so I've heard.
Saw more than one study showing it's almost impossible to OD on ivermectin, including horse formulation (same stuff but with a picture of a horse on it). Sorry lost my sauce.
IVM LD 50 is like 50 times the recommended does - that means that it would be lethal to 50% of the population if they took 50 times the dose they should - that menas pretty safe - that stated, everyone has their own health issue so people need to knwo what the risks are before they start pumping stuff in their body. I'm not anti-IVM - I have some myself just in case - people need to know what they are doing and what THEIR health risks are is all I'm stating.
It's not really on you to disprove liver damage (it's nearly impossible to prove the negative). The doctor should provide all the evidence that it does and that we've been fucking over Africans by giving it to them for the last 40 years.
What I know about isn't exactly damage, but Ivermectin uses a metabolic path through the liver that other drugs and herbs use too, and if a person is taking these other things, all of them become less useful or available because 5here is a limit to how much processing power is available. Statins is one whole class, many people take them. Modafinil is another, but not very common. The sensible thing to do is use an interaction checker. Many available, like this: https://www.medicine.com/interaction-checker
According to webmd liver problem is not listed. I love referencing webmd because that the same thing your doctor will tell you. Ivermectin has been around since 1975 and William Campbell won a Nobel prize for the discovery. It’s approved by the FDA. I am surprised google hasn’t erased this info yet…….
If there was substantial risk of liver damage, it would not be regularly prescribed internationally for on-label (originally intended) purposes either. That's my common sense reply to the doctor.
Over a billion dosages given to humans. That's a LOT of liver damage. The Elite did not need to create Covid to kill humanity. Ivermectin should have done it for them according to these quack doctors.

Tylenol causes liver damage. IANAD, but good grief, these people…
Seriously…
Just tell that doctor that booze also causes liver damage and it's not banned.

They certainly drink it tho.
Ivermectin is an FDA approved medication. Just look up the common and serious side effects on the package insert.

Bullshit. It's a wonder drug. Your friends doctor is brain dead, lib faggot.

I thought that was ibuprofin.

Man there is no way.
'Not intended for use in humans.'
Liar.
I already wanted to be a hermit 5 years ago. This shit is killing me.

Apparently in the newly-politicized medical community it causes brain damage.

Well it's a good thing he can't just go down to the gas station and buy alcohol...since it causes liver damage and all.
Has the FDA approved exercise yet or are they still conducting trials?
So does vodka, It's on the shelf everywhere. So does ibuprofen, it's on the shelf everywhere, so does.... your turn
Not only that, it turns you into a horse!
Those motherfuckers will do anything they can to scam people into taking their vaccine.
If the vaccine is healthy and good for you, then I can see Ivermectin causing liver damage...
no it doesn’t
Best source, in my view is send the doctor straight to the studies, and make him justify his claim.

NAC can restore livers for most med ODs (like acetaminophen). Ive only heard it lowering sperm counts temporarily, but thats all.
how often should it be taken
