.... when I first watched this show back when I considered myself a normy, I thought everything in the show was outlandish, the government doing surgery to change appearance, secret service just killing people to cover things up, framing people, people who are dead but aren't, murder of political enemies....etc I would actually laugh at how outlandish it all was and how evil the female president was and this "company" that controlled everything.
Now watching it again.... I don't think it goes far enough.... and is probably pretty damn spot on... crazy.
We need full body tattoo suits of great awakening map! Stat!
hahaha that would be awesome :D
Q calendar tattoo on the back
Yeah, Prison Break was good, might go back to it myself.
My username is from a sci fi show called First Wave about a man who found a Nostradamus book that predicted an alien invasion that was in it's infiltration phase of culture, and government. I think about that one sometimes too.
I'll look that one up, love me some alien stuff
Yeah, ran from 99-01. You can tell it's around that era because it sort of has X Files-ish vibe.
Cade Foster Lives!
The twice blessed man.
One of the best shows ever aired on Fox. Phenomenal cast and acting. Stories started out strong, arguably got a bit strained toward the end (we used to ask ourselves at the start of each season, "Are they STILL breaking out of prison?"), BUT -- overall, an underrated and excellent gem. Especially compared to most of the excrement the networks pump out today.
Haha yep, it goes off the rails towards the end, but is a fun ride the whole way
I had to stop when they ALL ended up in the same prison again in South America. Come on man.
IMO 24 was the beat show on FOX, but Prison Break is right behind.
I've actually had this realization about pretty much all books and movies I consumed in my youth. Particularly science fiction and fantasy - I thought those genres always went too far in portraying 'evil' - like made it a caricature too removed from reality to be believable.
I now know that rather most of them didn't go far enough.
Peter F Hamilton, the 'Nights Dawn' trilogy......
The sects in those books are fairly close(albeit mild compared to reality) to the real thing....

I cannot even count how many times I have replayed that and all seasons of 24. Classics. Put my earplugs in and go about my evening chores replaying the scenes in my head. Works great for people who cut the cable years ago. Best part...NO commercials.
Oh, 24 I forgot about that one, maybe I need to watch it
This was my favorite show before Breaking Bad came out. I agree! It all seems too normal and predictable now, but back then I thought it was really reaching and possibly beyond reality.
Separately, if you liked those, check out Patriot on Amazon Prime. Show was from 2017ish.
Yeah Breaking Bad is my number one, then Prison Break and then maybe Lost the first few seasons
Predictive...Programming
Also, as [they] follow the Law of Duality, [they] are REQUIRED to disclose what [they] do to the public. However, [they] can choose the means by which this occurs, and so now we have "Sci-Fi" entertainment and the other genres. Both as a means of disclosure, but also as a means to hide and protect what [they] really do.
Also several TV shows that got canceled after 1 or 2 seasons because they got too close, season 2 of Dark Angel is probably what killed that show.....
Some really good acting in that series. Peter Stormaire. Robert Knepper.
Yep, it's my second time watching it again and I forgot how good it was, I don't remember too much about it, but it's a great show.
Watch Britannia. Holy shit, it's all there.
Hm. Never saw it, maybe I will....
Yep, I would recommend it. I never watched it when it first came out just because I thought it was a prison show, but it's SOOOO much more then that. It has some cheesy parts, but for the most part is very good.
I mean, it's pretty much all the stuff we talk about on here, it's pretty crazy.
I avoided it for that same reason, just thought it was a prison show where they repeat the same thing season after season. Sorry I missed it.
Yeah, it's more I'd say political intrigue, but there is a lot of prison stuff, but it's really good, I'd give it a watch
Thanks for the idea! I love stuff like that.
The worst was first watching it with a guy that had been in prison a couple of times.
Constantly jumping in with anecdotes; "that was the worst, you'd be sitting there reading a book and suddenly because a fight happened in the other wing, all of a sudden you're in lockdown"
