The interests of China and Soros clearly derive from differing families whom have determined that naked competition is allowable at this time between them. From both families backing Soros and China respectively, the US is a problem which they desire to eliminate and for which they have plotted methods of destruction for the US which each family prefers.
However, now that one or both families have executed their plans to bring about the destruction of the US, they are looking to remove the competitors that would dillute their spoils of war. Hence the public infighting.

I blame Hollywood. Ever since the early days movies have had two sides like cops and robbers or cowboys and indians or allies versus axis etc. In real life things are more rock, paper, scissors. That is, there may not be a "right" answer just a best one for a particular set of circumstances.
My guess is that Soros et al were quite happy using the Chinese to further their globalist ideals but at some point the Chinese started doing it for themselves. Now Soros can see his world leadership role disappearing into the sunset.

There's no rule stating you can only have one enemy. Then again: The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Let China take out Soros...or vice versa.
