Dude, in 1982 he was kicked out because he was passed out drunk all the time.
In 1982, they were all hardcore.
in the end they both won and so did the heavy metal rock fans.
Dave created Megadeth and was an alternate Metallica band
The best thing happened.
Can't complain about that
They all had drinking problems too. Funny how they kicked Dave out for being an addict when they were deservingly nick named Alcoholica.
They got progressively worse. Dave was already there.
I'm not defending I'm just going with the truth of what happened
Given the hardcore drugs he used to do, I'm pretty sure Dave is a prophet. I have many albums and was nearly swallowed into a mosh pit in the 90's at their show.
I recently re-listened to the words of Symphony of Destruction.
Key verses:
Yes he does. About 6'3" if I recall correctly.
First president in my lifetime to END wars instead of starting any.
I WAS swallowed into a mosh pit at his show and it was EPIC!!!
HAH!
Hope you didn't lose any teeth!
I had the same thought dude! It definitely seems like God started working through Dave at some point. The lyrics to Washington Is Next blow my mind. Countdown to Extinction too. Even the album art on Youthanasia seems like a reference to practices of the elite, even though it’s super unlikely Dave knew about that stuff at the time. Maybe God is just funny like that sometimes.
Yes! I couldn't remember the song title. Thanks Fren.
For anyone curious (sorry for the YouBoob link):
Washington is next
Typed lyrics start about 30 sec in.
I'd bet he knew about all that stuff back then. Most of the metal bands I grew up with all made songs about government corruption, medical tyranny, etc. Sepultura had a song called "Biotech is Godzilla" that talks about medical experiments and technology being in the wrong hands. That came out in 1993! Check out these lyrics:
"Street people kidnapped, hid from view "To save the Earth", our rulers met Some had other secret plans No! No! No! No! Biotech Biotech Biotech Say what? Strip-mine the Amazon Of cells of life itself Gold rush for genes is on Natives get nothing Biotech Biotech Biotech Is Godzilla (Godzilla) Mutations cooked in labs Money-mad experiments New food and medicine? New germs and accidents! Like Cubatão "World's most polluted town" Air melts your face Deformed children all around Bio-technology Ain't what's so bad Like all technology It's in the wrong hands Cut-throat corporations Don't give a damn When lots of people die From what they've made Biotech Biotech Biotech, is AIDS? Stop!
Damn dude, you got a point.
...in case you haven't heard of these metal legends...

Nevermore "Born" lyrics:
"Religion changed the face of man, thou shalt not kill, we all are gone The seed of ignorance is born thou shalt not think, thou shalt conform The pigs order us to follow orders and obey The flies drink the decaying nectar of their tortured effigy Cling to wasted beliefs and visions and bathe in apathy again No solution, the retribution of spiritual sickness begins The legacy of suffering is through, the guilt we bear shall not tear us in two Born we are the same, within the silence, indifference be thy name Torn we walk alone, we sleep in silent shades The grandeur fades, the meaning never known If nothing in the world can change our children will inherit nothing Born we are the same, within the silence, indifference be thy name Torn we walk alone, we sleep in silent shades The grandeur fades, the meaning never known The pigs call for pure submission and fall into the fray The lonely hunter beats his shallow drum, the soundtrack of world disarray Cling to wasted beliefs and visions and bathe in apathy again No solution, the retribution of spiritual sickness begins Born we are the same, within the silence, indifference be thy name Torn we walk alone, we sleep in silent shades The grandeur fades, the meaning never known If nothing in the world can change our children will inherit nothing"
Isn't it funny how metal has been described as satanic, yet I've only found a handful of bands that actually come close to that? Nearly every band I listened to growing up never mentioned anything about worshipping satan...quite the opposite. Yes there are tons of bands that seem to be anti-Christian, but that's mainly because those bands come from Scandinavian countries that embraced paganism for thousands of years before Christianity was introduced to their homeland. Metal is what the world needs in my opinion.
Wow, Great times Fren!
I was on the floor also and somehow my chair and 10 rows behind me disappeared. Had to lock elbows with my friends to avoid being sucked into the hour long WWE Battle Royale.
Dave Mustaine has been based for a long time. My favorite band, actually.
Wish I could updoot again for your username.
I got you bro
I don't much care for old school metal (huge metalcore kid) but I love 80s thrash. Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Pantera, and Death are definitely my favorite old school bands. Last two aren't thrash per say but you get the point.
He was in the news a few years back for taking about how most mass shootings are staged.
I think he was on the Alex Jones show several times since 2012 or so...he's been awake for awhile now.
Based. Always has been.
Listen to "Washington is Next - (2007)" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLz6DqLkFA8
"... Disengage their minds, sabotage their health Promote sex, and war, and violence in the kindergartens Blame the parents and teachers; it's their fault; "Annuit Coeptis" Attack the church dynamic, attack the family..."
Saw Megadeth in 2012. Yeah, they've always been pretty based
hahah, the guitarist Kiko is likely vaxxed as he lives in Finland (But is Brazilian). I wonder if he’s based or will end up quitting.
He has an awesome youtube channel with behind the stage footage, seems like a great guy.
Dave Mustaine is the man. He was for a wall and keeping illegals out back in the 80s or 90s. He also triggered the cuck metal reviewers with his last album in 2016.
Dave has been telling truths his whole career
Dave has been very statically based. He's a born again Christian with libertarian/right wing views. Not entirely common in the metal scene as it gets clogged up with cucks. Most of my beloved secular bands are cucks. Luckily most of my Christian metalcore/deathcore bands have traditional/right wing views.
Fwiw. To the best of my knowledge, this is all true. So, I can be a second witness.
It's true. I've spoken with Dave several times, both online in the Fan Club exclusive chat room, as well as in person. He is saved. Check out his song Never Walk Alone.
Dave is a great guy. I did some work with him years ago when he had his coffee company. I've also been luck enough to shoot several Megadeth shows, and I try to go see them whenever they are nearby. My favorite experience was a few years ago when they toured with Anthrax and Slayer. I was able to hang out with their lighting guy Jim and watch the show from the sound booth. It was amazing! Love me some Dave & Megadeth. <3
The entire Colony album by In Flames is worth a listen because they talk about today's situation back in the 90s as well. The song Colony is about the marriage of the political system with the scientific community and how we are being forced into a chimera or transhuman era.
I love that album, had no idea that’s what it was about though. Definitely gonna have to re-listen.
It's my favorite album of all time, actually. I love the first several In Flames albums and think thats some of the best music out there. I love Fleetwood Mac and Led Zepplin and all that, but In Flames is special.
Love In Flames. The Jester Race is my personal favorite album of theirs, that beautiful acoustic intro sucks me in every time!
Oh yeah. The Jester Race and Whoracle. Whoracle is such a good name too, because look at all these people who claim to know what is best for us (like Billy Boy Gates) and claim to know so much more than us, but in reality they are the liars and human scum. Love it! Jotun is one of my favorite songs of all time. That guitar playing is just incredible.
You know what’s wild? I’m just realizing the first time I saw In Flames live was the same concert where I first saw Megadeth live (I’ve seen both at least 3 times each now.) Kinda awesome that you brought up In Flames on this thread!
Haha, wow! That's a badass concert.
Too bad that Dave Grohl is a globolibtard. Foo Fighters should be renamed Foo Humpers, or just Foos. All they are fighting is sanity.
