Yes a wonderful cool front moved in just in time for fall. It was perfect timing. I was actually waiting for it and planned my week around it. I follow independent ameture meteorologists for the weather and they are always more dead on that the freaks that work for news stations. And they tell you further in advance, the other guys are more controlled and don't give you as far out of a warning about things.
With that said, a lot of people believe that we have started a cooling trend and possibly moving into another mini ice age, so prepare accordingly if you live up north. What happened last winter (to many of us anyway) may have just been the start of it, rather than a fluke. We'll see. But I think that's what Trump is referring to because the mini ice age theory has already been circulating for a several years and I believe started with a russian scientist.
That's what is funny about watching dated stuff like Robin Williams Live. They lean into that shit so hard only for them to be forced into reconstructing an entirely divergent narrative.
Different every year. I remember some Christmas cold enough to wear a winter coat and some were warm not needing a coat. Dont get snow too often. Sleet is more common. If it does snow the ground is still to warm for it to stay. Every so many year we get one bad snow storm that can affect us up to a week. Snow usually comes in December- February.
I remember years ago it snowed in april. A cold front randomly hit us. I remember because I was camping, left wearing shorts and a tshirt. No one saw that cold front coming. Wasnt much snow, more like little flurries. But weird for april.
North Texas and South Texas and West Texas and East Texas all have very different weather. I'm in South Texas. We did get that big snow last year, but prior to that the last significant snowfall here was in 1985. We don't get enough rain.
What happens at Christmas? We wear our shorts and tshirts and flip flops and a Santa Hat and have a cookout (hahaha) We don't get nearly enough rain, usually. Here in San Antonio we are basically North Mexico.
It probably will go back up. It's that time where every day you have to check the weather to see what you need to wear. Hot one day and cold the next, then back to hot.
something something... because CLIMATE CHANGE!! Something something...all the fault of carbon pollution and our western lifestyle!!... something something... people are gonna die! something something ... we have to abandon our cars and houses and all go live under a bridge at the border in TEXAS....
Same happened here in FL. Woke up this morning and it was 70° at my house. May not seem like much, but to a born and bred Floridian like myself, the temp change is definitely apparent. When you're used to 80°F temps at sunrise, 70 feels cool. Humidityy is down, as well. And I heard we're getting a "cold front" now.
I'm in Kentucky and our low last night was 46. Usually we're still in our high 60's and low 70's before the true cold hits around Halloween. I'm shivering now as it is 49 now and I think I need to turn the heat on.
I think about it constantly. It is cooler and it has been cooler here in OK. Even on the hot days the humidity we're used to having was gone. I think the "global warming" was actual weather manipulation that has now come to a stop - at least in an attempt to warm the entire planet.
We're heading into a solar minimum period. Expect the averages to get cooler over the next few decades. For the past 50+ years we were in a solar maximum period
The sun's solar maximum and solar minimum cycles are only every 11 years tho. The last minimum started in 2008... That puts us at a maximum in 2019 and lessening from there when we hit 2030 and we'll be at another minimum.

the weather has been cooling for over a decade now. Do you remember "we need to hide the decline"?
That's why they memory holed "global warming". That shit disappeared and was replaced with climate change, and we're all supposed to just forget that.
It blows my mind how long they've been gaslighting us.

Does this relate directly with the solar minimum?
Thank you!!
Same thing happened here in South Texas. Which is MOST unusual b/c typically Fall has no real meaning here.
Our seasons are Almost Summer, Summer, Still Summer and Christmas.
Accurate!
Different every year. I remember some Christmas cold enough to wear a winter coat and some were warm not needing a coat. Dont get snow too often. Sleet is more common. North texas - was 102 on monday. Now in the 80s and low 90s. A little bit of a shock to walk out the door on tuesday morning lol
Wow. I do know what you mean. I also know that it could change back to hot!
It probably will go back up. It's that time where every day you have to check the weather to see what you need to wear. Hot one day and cold the next, then back to hot.
In MI we went from mid 70’s to low 50’s overnight but that’s not uncommon for this state. We never actually put our winter clothes away lol.
Drastic temp change are all too common here.
I wore a sweatshirt to work today. Unbelievable but not unbelievable lol
Eye roll. It’s almost like it happens every year.
Shh nobody tell him about seasons.

oh, wait...
New England didn't really get a summer this year, just a whole lotta rain.
I'm in Wisconsin and just shut AC off yesterday
Near Chicago. Definitely went from mid 80s to 60s real fast.
Here in East Tennessee, we went from mid 80's with high humidity to upper 60's and low humidity. In less than a week. Very strange for this area.

Yep, 80s here in my part of Michigan last week, today it’s 55 and 7 inches of rain fell since Tuesday. Insanity.
Soros firebug money dried up.

Actually we are heading into a grand solar minimum so we'll see a gradual cooling for the rest of my lifetime.
Nevada, can confirm same. Was a switch flipped?
It’s been hotter this week in Socal than it has the past month. Idk dude
I've lived through a lotta summers and I can tell you this year was one!
