It was a removable drive with 6 partitions, mixed win NT 4.0, win2k, linux variations, and if the drive wasn't inserted, the computer would boot to the internal drive to win98 for the english classes that used the same rooms.

Yes! I use Linux Mint, but if I want I just boot my Laptop off my external Hard Drive utilizing Windows 10! Needless to say, I very seldom use Windows for anything!
