Need to add a nitric oxide booster to my daily regimen. I used to take Noni concentrate but it was expensive. But... hospitalization is even more expensive so I guess I’ll add that to the long list of stuff I take now to protect myself. (A, liposomal Vit C, D, zinc, NAC, Quercitin w/bromelain, Black Cumin Seed oil, Omega-3’s, DHEA,magnesium, Elderberry, dandelion leaf, Xlear nasal spray and mouthwash with CPC a few times a day.
First of all the taste is not great but you have to just throw it down the back of your throat.
Somehow through over exercising I injured my hip. It was four months before I did anything. They are now saying early arthritis. Finally, I got a prescription for an anti inflammatory (like Advil but it is once daily dosing… Meloxicam). That gave me horrible bruising where I couldn’t remember what I hit. This is a sign that anti inflammatory is making your blood too thin. So I had to stop it. I wanted something to decrease the inflammatory response in my hip and through the body. So I came across black seed oil. After being on it just a couple of days I notice my hip was feeling better. And I was having less arthritic symptoms in my hands too.
So now for my joint/over all health this is my routine:
-1/2 Teaspoon of black seed oil first thing in the morning.
-1 tablespoon of collagen, one vitamin d, calcium supplement with food.
-later in the day 1/4 grapefruit blended with the white rind (outer orange peeled off with as much of the white on as possible). with 25mg of zinc and a multivitamin.
As needed, I use DMSO topically with Diclofenac gel.
I wanted the quinine for an anti inflammatory for my hip and virus protection. So I take the grapefruit&peel with the zinc.
But the biggest improvement from hip pain came with the addition of the black seed oil. I’ve seen a significant improvement in my hip pain even more improvement than the prescription for meloxicam and no bruising so far. I will keep you posted.
Warnings:
If you are on medications to decrease your blood pressure the Blackseed oil can also lower your blood pressure, especially with the class of drugs called beta blockers (like metoprolol.) The Blackseed oil can also thin the blood (anticoagulation properties) but I have not seen any bruising and so far it’s been about a week. So if you are on anything to thin the blood, check with your doctor.
If you’re on medications that get metabolized by the liver, grapefruit can interact with that so check with your doctor.
Thanks to this board, I’ve started adding a drop of Lugol’s each day to my water bottle. Thank you for all the valuable info. I forgot to mention that as part of my regimen.

Add one more to my regiment now, thank you!
The black seed oil I use tastes like pencil shavings smell.
It's the bomb and I actually now like it's peppery taste.
I need this for my back and neck. Over working in construction at a young age caused pretty significant and painful arthritis.
I just started glucosamine, too early to tell if itll work.
Ill save blackseed oil in my mind.
I know sunflower seed oil is supposed to be great for joints too.
It's crazy that you can take it in the morning and it doesn't make you tired...but at night you will sleep like a baby? Ashwagandha is great also.
Interesting you take black seed oil at night and it helps you sleep? I’ll try it for a next week at night.
Nitric oxide boosters will put lead in your "pencil" too so there is that added benefit.
Name checks out.

Can you please share with us which iodine brand you take and how much?
Thank you!
It makes sense if you remember that they issue iodine pills to counter /prevent damage from radiation....which produces cancer...
I take 6 drops Colloidal Iodine in 12 oz water a couple times a week. My source;

Just found a very good report on it: nitric oxide boosting with
vitamin c, garlic, onions, cellery, cabbage, carots, polyphines in OPC's, sunlight = vitamin d, training with weights or running
also quercetin boosts the NO levels and onions have a lot of it
And do not forget, if the sun doesn't shine, cold water treatment/showers stimulates the production vitamin d :-)

But remember that wheat consumption stifles Vit D3 metabolism.
Oh yeah thank you, good point, and sugar stifles vitamin C.
