Yep not forced.
Extreme pressure to ruin your livelihood and career is a form of force.
And as such is a violation of the Zero Aggression Principle.

Good way of phrasing that argument, I can see that. Still not forced unless someone holds you down and jabs your arm.
Coerced is 💯 the correct word.
It kinda like giving the bully your lunch money before he takes it, and thinking you're ok & "in charge" because there was no confrontation/beating
No, we are just PREPARED.
We have our own businesses and have been making sacrifices for decades so we won't be caught dependent on anyone. And until last year we were mocked and rudiculed as lunatics.
And re read the obit
She got the shot so she could be a room mom for her daughters.
She wasn't going to starve, you act like she was on line to get food and meds for her dying child and was told JAB NOW OR DIE!!
Most of these people who "need to keep their job" haven't even tried to find another one or do something else. Just woe is me, I want things to stay the same and I deserve things to be easy.. They don't have 2 months of savings....
They were "coerced" the same way 20 year old actresses on the casting couch are.
Exactly. People think we're being harsh or whatever, but it's the truth. The word "forced" is thrown around so casually now a days. I think it's because America has become too comfortable and people aren't used to making hard decisions and sacrifices anymore. People may say forced when you jack-booted thugs kicking in your doors to force a vaccine in at you at gun point, but don't cry about force if you still have the option to refuse.
You don't have to be threatened with death for it to be coercion.
ANY psychologoical pressure to get someone to do something they would not choose to do under their own free will, or to get someone to not do something they would choose to do under their own free will IS COERCION.
That is actually the definition of the word.
I have a job and live on my own and still won't take it after being threatened with my only source of income. What now?
It can sure feel like force to some people, in some situations, though.
Just because something feels a certain way doesn't mean it's so. People in this country have gotten too comfy and equate discomfort/pressure with force. We haven't seen force yet.
