One of the articles had a map of the ranch where the shooting took place and I was curious. Bonanza Creek Ranch is in Santa Fe and is advertised as a filming ranch - I remember visiting a similar place outside of Tucson several years back and it was where they filming a lot of the old westerns, so I assume it is something similar. Just south about 20-25 miles away from Bonanza Creek is Zorro Ranch - previously owned by one Jeffrey Epstein.

And between them is a 22,000-acre ranch owned (until recently) by Tom Ford, a tight buddy of Jeffy Epstein's. Another, very similar movie ranch sits on THAT property (Cerro Pelon Ranch, formerly Cook Ranch, known locally as Silverado Ranch).
Aaaand it's about 5 miles from a Cemex plant that was exposed for being involved in Child Trafficking in 2018!

I don't know if this has been reported outside of New Mexico, but earlier that morning, half the crew, including much of the camera crew, WALKED OFF THE SET over safety concerns. Apparently the "prop" (real) gun had "misfired" twice before.
How convenient, create chaos on set, get people to leave, some mystery person slips an actual round into a "prop" gun...
