Depends on which of my many computers I've used in the past few weeks lol. I normally use duck duck go. At work, I use google (fastest to use, and the slow gov't computers can't load much). I started switching to brave search as I just learned about it. Was wondering if people have had good experiences with search engines. I found duckduckgo to suck, google is evil but operates smoothly, I don't know much about brave browsing, but I'm hopeful.
I have had 2 laptops in the past month, buying a new one today (returning my new one), built a computer (gaming), but had an Alienware (still have, but selling, used to use this one), and before that was a homebuilt computer that ended up with a couple of issues. So in the 6 months, 3 computers, 3 laptops. (not including work computers (3 different ones in the same 6 months).
for anything image related I use yandex. their reverse image search is as good as google's used to be before they ruined it. test them side by side, its a world of difference.
Anyone using Brave Search or using that filthy duckduckgo (or even worse google)?
Brave only.
I use Quant because of the Q 😎
Ditto. Well, not for the Q, but just because it's a better search engine in finding what I'm looking for...
...but I suppose adding the Q as another reason is ok too 😎👍
Brave for a good while now.
metacrawler with uBlockOrigin (adblocker) on Firefox is not bad
https://www.metacrawler.com/
Use "Add search bar in toolbar"
install "Add custom search engine" addon
Make metacrawler the default search
NASTY TRICK GOOGLE DOES WHEN YOU HAND TYPE IN A URL
If google is your default search engine,
it will take your hand typed URL and run it through their engine
and spit back their version of it.
DON'T HAVE GOOGLE SET AS THE DEFAULT DEARCH
Brave
What do you search with?
I use Brave search engine.

I stopped using Google a few years ago.
I use DDG, and have for about a year now. I tried Brave, but it was wayyyyy too slow.
If I'm searching a political/health/other, I'll go here or somewhere else over the top search engines.
Better late realization than never.
Anons were telling everyone to not use Google years ago for this exact reason.
Nope, sorry... no comparison with peanut allergies....
