I picked up the China virus from my wife this weekend. Started with normal flu symptons headache and fever. Now on day 3 my taste and smell is completely off track. Everything tastes spicy (virgin olive oil for example) and the same for the smell.
Anyone that has the same issue? Any cures to get back to normal? If I ask my doctor he would prescribe the vaccine! 😂
Take aspirin, not ibuprofen to manage your temp. Ibuprofen undermines the immune system. Load up on Vitamin d3 take 10,000 IU daily. Load up on vitamin C and take at least 1000 mg. Get Quercetin and take 500 mg and 50 mg of zinc.
^good advice. You can take a giant dose of D for 2 days (100,000 units a day x 2 days), then go back down to 5,000-10,000 a day. My naturopath recommends that.
Monoclonal antibodies are available but you have to ask for the treatment. Don’t delay.
agree. that's why you don't suppress it unless it's dangerously high. vitamins and monoclonal support the immune system's fight; the aspirin here is not for the fever but to prevent thrombolytic events.
unlike regular cold and flu, letting covid run it's course damages tissue that can have long term effects.
Sunshine. Move often. Real citrus and Lots of TV. If it gets bad get the infusion.
Plenty of good advice below, my advice is on nomenclature.
It's the CCP virus, calling it this instead of the China Virus narrows the blame to the actual perpetrators vs the country as a whole.
Actually I just let it run it's course. I am 54 and it is funny the healthiest guy in our shop who even works out got put on a breathing machine so I guess it really depends on the person who gets it
Loss of taste and smell is the most common with covid testing people... Outside of usual sickness similarities like fever chest cold etc.
That is part of it and your sense of taste and smell will come back when you are well. I would get some horsepaste.
What do you mean with ‘covid testing people’? Anyone knows where to get ivermectine in Europe ?
No idea in Europe, but it's horse dewormer. Look for one that the active ingredient is Ivermectin 1.87%
Buyivermectin24.com.
Zinc kills the virus. Ivermectin helps it get there. And C & D boost your immune system. ~ Dr. Zelenko
Rent a horse costume and go to the feed store... ~{°¡°}~
Quercetin, ivermectin and quinine water all help get the zinc into the cells.
Quercetin is an over the counter supplement so health food stores have it.
I had the exact same symptoms August a year ago along with everyone at my jobsite. The smell and taste loss was the biggin'. Pissed me off because I love food. And it was a very considerable loss in smell and taste, not just sort of. Of course I didn't get tested, also returned to work after 2 days when the headache and fever subsided. Everyone else took 14 days off and a test every time they had a tickle in their throat. Pathetic.
Same here, I already worked yesterday and today for a customer. Never had and never will stick a test in my nose.
Not medical advice, but when I had it I took Zinc, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, elderberries, nasal spray and one other medicine that was a dual advil pill.
Thanks I’m taking all of these already thanks to my sister
Are you taking any medications? I couldn't get a taste until I went to the spiciest place I could find and just at that, Somehow that helped a lot by the next day. Maybe a coincidence.
No, no medication at all. I barely take any painkillers. I will definitely try it out!
Here is a shortlist and reasons:
Ivermectin: Protease inhibitor. Basically prevents Covid from binding to the cell. It is also an antiviral, antifungal, antibacterial agent.
Zink: Prevent viruses from replicating.
Quercetin: Helps absorption of Zink.
Vitamin C & D: These vitamins are linked in general to better outcomes with viruses.
Iron: Iron helps your body produce more red blood cells, which are being damaged by the spike proteins.
Protein: Helps your body repair damaged tissues and organs from the spike proteins.
Iodine (oral): Iodine is an antiviral, antifungal, antibacterial agent.
The following you will need to consult your doctor.
Antiplatelet blood thinner (like aspirin): Helps prevent blood clotting
Anticoagulant blood thinner (like heparin): Helps to reduce and prevent stasis (slowing or stopping of blood)
Ivermectin, the horse stuff at the feed store works
Family is going through this currently. Get ready for 9/10/11 days of downtime. The exhaustion and headaches were the ass kickers for me. Wife has a very painful cough and feels like she can’t take a full deep breath. We both have been doing all the necessary vitamins listed way before becoming sick, didn’t help. Keep taking em regardless and get lots of rest. I lost my sense of smell as did the wife. Hope it comes back eventually. Goodluck fren

lost taste and smell for 6 weeks, lost 10 lbs too so not all bad. No cure that I know of, just time.
get a pulse oximeter, cost 20 or 40 bucks, make sure your blood oxygen doesn't dip below 90%.
If you start go get more sick consider monoclonal antibodies depending on your age and risk level.
