I wouldn't trust them to not accidentally inject me with the whackcine.
Edit: the Red Cross website has info different from what the guy in the screenshot said.
Q: I’ve heard claims that the Red Cross refuses to accept convalescent plasma from individuals who have received a COVID-19 vaccine because it wipes out the antibodies. Is this true?
A: There are claims circulating that incorrectly state that the Red Cross will not accept convalescent plasma donations from those who have received the COVID-19 vaccine because “the vaccine wipes out those antibodies making the convalescent plasma ineffective in treating other COVID-19 patients.” This is not accurate.
Due to the decline in hospital demand and because the Red Cross and our industry partners have been able to build a sufficient supply of convalescent plasma to meet the foreseeable needs of COVID-19 patients the Red Cross stopped collecting convalescent plasma completely on June 14.
"Due to the decline in hospital demand and because the Red Cross and our industry partners have been able to build a sufficient supply of convalescent plasma to meet the foreseeable needs of COVID-19 patients the Red Cross stopped collecting convalescent plasma completely on June 14".
There was a story about them denying a white male convalescent plasma because they needed to use their limited supply only for patients that needed it most... like POC who are more at risk. But they have so much they are no longer collecting it? In other words it was just strait up racism. Fuck whitey he can just go home a die.
They changed it. Early this year, around Jan or Feb they did state on their website that they would not accept convalescent plasma from vaccinated individuals. They changed it a few days later. A few news stations picked it up and they are still out there if you search (February), but now it’s mostly “fact checkers”.
“Officials say the vaccine depletes antibodies created by a person’s body that has successfully recovered from COVID-19. As a result, their plasma is no longer useful to someone critically ill with the virus. Convalescent plasma therapy was authorized by the FDA to be used by people suffering from COVID-19.”
Thank you. I had heard a commercial this summer on the radio looking for unvaxxed donors -- specifically for plasma. It was my mistake for not looking at the age if this Dr's tweet, but I will say I still have grave concerns about donating to the RC and do not trust them.
I am so confused. My son was saved by massive blood transfusions after being shot. Blood transfusions save lives. How do people help car accident victims, innocent gun shot victims and people in surgery?
Here's the thing... at one time, the Red Cross was all about getting unvaxxed plasma donations. I posted links above to the news segment ,an article that referenced a Red Cross article from the Way Back Machine and heard several radio commercials looking for the same. It is my fault I got excited posted an unknowingly aged Tweet-- I should've dug before doing so. However, the fact that the RC pulled a switcheroo and now cites the FDA in regard to vaccinated blood scares me even more. At some point, pure bloods will be sought and at what lengths will they go to get that blood? It may start out as an incentive program at first, but then what?
As well as too much old news. It's one thing if it's something that got missed but when you can find the same thing in old posts from months ago why are people treating it like news again?

THIS ENTIRE SENTENCE BY THE RED CROSS IS A LIE!
"Due to the decline in hospital demand and because the Red Cross and our industry partners have been able to build a sufficient supply of convalescent plasma to meet the foreseeable needs of COVID-19 patients the Red Cross stopped collecting convalescent plasma completely on June 14".
Yes, that sentence screams of lies. No way I would step foot into a RC blood drive.
June 14th is 45's birthday.
😍

Thanks - Saw that. Per this article, Red Cross did corroborate this Dr's claims. Still searching for the video in his tweets.

No worries. We're all here to post and sort through a lot of information to see what's true. 🐸
Found the video: https://www.bitchute.com/video/57kwwMbiYKGu/
Interesting. Either the news outlet got bad info, or the Red Cross is putting out conflicting info. 🤔
That completely explains why they do not accept natural immunity and still want people to get the vax. yikes!

Here’s another news story from that time:
“ The Red Cross said vaccinated people can't donate plasma because the shot counteracts existing antibodies.”

And another (original story, not the May update)
“Officials say the vaccine depletes antibodies created by a person’s body that has successfully recovered from COVID-19. As a result, their plasma is no longer useful to someone critically ill with the virus. Convalescent plasma therapy was authorized by the FDA to be used by people suffering from COVID-19.”

Can confirm.
Don't give anything to Red Cross. Evil organization.

We're at the point that if we post any info we need to be fact checking it! There's to much bullshit being posted as of late.

I will donate my unvaxed blood at a rate of $50,000 per pint
