I had this thought in mind. If everyone switched over to crypto and started transacting via crypto (buying and exchanging goods in crypto), the u.s. government wouldn't have an easy way to figure out how to tax those transactions unless it was self-reported on tax forms. They could look at the central ledger but wouldn't know how to associate random wallet addresses with actual u.s. citizens.
I thought this one was “ only” 1.9 billion. How is 1.68 of it going all to support journalist. Lol support journalist. And these morons are like yes we need to make sure we give money to the press so “demoCrazy doesn’t die in darkness”.
How else do CNN, MSNBC, NPR etc fund their payroll and overhead? Their ratings don’t merit ad revenue. The largest indication of all: they don’t even pretend to care that no one’s watching… these aren’t competitive businesses, they’re Satriale’s and the Bing (aka “fronts”).
Aaaand they'll just spend it on useless things as they continue on to irrelevancy. These last 4 years have shown that more and more people are getting their news FIRST from alternative sources. Before, it was always the mainstream media that was where everything broke. This is not the case anymore.
