"According to a 2016 GQ article about the case, the toy gun in question was an Airsoft pellet gun, which Rice got from a friend. His friend's dad had purchased the gun, a replica of a Colt M1911 semi-automatic, from Walmart. The Airsoft pellet gun typically has an orange tip on the barrel, but Rice's friend took the toy gun apart to fix it at some point when it wasn't working, and was unable to get the the orange piece back on."
So, the toy gun looked like the real thing and the cops had no way to know it was a toy.
Since no amount of logical argument will convince someone determined to conflate these two completely unrelated cases, I'd go with the Coke argument: Tamir should have tried to be less black.
"They are totally unrelated you fucking moron." I'd go with that.
I suppose the pithy “apples and oranges” and leave it at that.
Or to spice it up “bananas and oranges”. That should get them riled up.
I think mine would end the engagement sooner though.
I was going to say the same thing...trying to compare an orangutan and the island of Fiji is more plausible. kek
Why does one need to be argued against? If these cops were as cool handed as Kyle the kid would be alive.
I am not well versed in tamir rice case but one situation didn't have to discredit the other
If the cop had Kenosha Kyle trigger discipline, then Tamir would still be alive.
Absolutely right, but they will be conflated to show racism and white privilege.
Getting leftie libs to see the difference will be hard, as most won't want counter-arguments.
Was Tamir Rice fighting against rioters trying to burn stuff down? Was Tamir Race attacked by two thugs trying to kill him?
Waste of time. Apples and Oranges.
Age does not a correlation make. Completely different scenarios. This is so weak I don’t even know where to begin
If Rice tried to surrender to police while holding a toy gun they would not have shot him.
If rittenhouse appeared out of nowhere and pointed his gun at police they would have shot him.
See the difference?
Male points gun at armed person and gets shot in self-defence as a result.
Here's the difference:

The black kid should have learned not to point a gun, real or not at cops?
The black kid should have hid behind the white kid?
The black kid should have had a real gun?
The black kid should have put hands up?

Cherry picking. Also Andrew Coffee. https://communities.win/c/GreatAwakening/p/140J1POwOG/people-saying-rittenhouse-would-/c
