Depends what part of the country you're in. I realized this when going from Texas to DC. When you live near the cows it's all cheap as fuck. Keep in mind the movie pulp fiction made a big deal about a novelty diner's $5 milk shake. Now even fast food milk shakes are $5. It's all going to the moon my guy.
I have one meal that I’ll get there occasionally. It has gone up $1.50 in price over the last 18 months—WHAT?!
Not only that but they (as well as every other fast food joint ) along with upping prices through the roof, has shrunk sizing of burgers etc down significantly

At the very least, unregulated is unacceptable, but with the right regulations, similar to anti-trust laws we can keep workers protected, companies can still grow modestly and we can end the corporate tyranny and corruption for good. So someone with a bachelor’s degree and college debt is working for maybe $25-33/ hour and a high school drop out makes $25? Stupidity. What will happen is all the fast food places will automate and there will be minimal jobs in those areas fo high school workers and high school drop outs or college kids wanting to make extra cash and work around school schedules.
