DAMN THESE CARS!! Civilians should not have access to cars that have the capability of killing mass numbers of people, they should be restricted to the police and military.
The fedgov has determined that cars kill people. Every day, thousands of people die due to cars.
Therefore, we are instituting a nationwide ban on civilians driving cars and trucks.
Unless you can show your papers and prove that you are a government worker, an essential healthcare worker or professional delivery driver, if you're caught driving, you will be arrested and your car impounded and sold. The funds raised from the sale of your car will be given to criminals of color, so that they might be incentivized to steal somewhat less during their next robbery.
The roads will be far safer, we will save trillions on roads and bridge rebuilding since no one will be using them, and criminals will be stealing somewhat less. A new green economy will arise from the grassroots of this new mandate.
