I keep reading how freemasons are evil and do horrible things. Yet I grew up with masons. I'm not evil, nor do I do horrible things. So, being new, and open minded. I would like to have a civilized discussion about the freemasons! And remember. I come from family members whom are passed now, but, were. Masons. I'm open to here. Thank you.

I don't believe a true 'born again' christian would be in the masonic order. Jesus spoke against secret societies. When it happened to me my eyes were opened and I had to leave the mormon church, which it's temple ceremonies are similar to masonic oaths as Joe Smith and other early mormons were masons.
Yeps, mormons is another satanic faction.
What with their global conspiracy to... make cookies for their enemies?
Rice Krispie Treats to be exact. I think they have cabinets set aside just for the ingredients.
Nothing wrong with Mormons. They're very evangelical, but if you are already right with God, one can just tell them " thanks but I'm already in a church". This really isn't that hard. Living around them is a whole lot easier than living around some other ddemographic groups for sure.
I honestly prefer living with good christians over mormons myself. Good mormons are hard to find. Not for lack of teaching, but lack of hearing.
Not so much cookies, rather the conspiracy is damning souls to hell who thought that “being good people” would be enough to get their own planet.
Only ridiculous people think we actually believe that.
Salvation is through Christ alone. Good works follow those that believe and are reborn, evidence of salvation not a condition for it.
And we intend to inherit everything as Christ did. Planets? I want the universe and everything else.
I've never understood what conspiracy we mormons were supposed to be conspiring for. World domination? One religion above all others? The elimination of free will?
Anyone familiar with even the most basic teachings will find any charges of conspiracy absurd.
Don't forget "soaking". That is uniquely mormon too. I think the founder also married a child but that's not unique to Mormons
Back in my day (many moons ago) they called it "Levi Lovin" jeans on but grinding until completion--still virgins tho :-)
The number of children he married may be unique tho--- Mormon officials admit at least 44 wives--half were teenagers and about 1/3 married to living mormon men...Joseph encouraged lots of secrecy between his "wives", their husband's and society in general
He was a lower level guy, just liked wood working and taking care of property and reading his bible. I'm no mind reader but he was a good man.
Yea most low level freemason are they got no idea what they involved in.
Freemason and other satanic orgs basically use the "Boiling frog principle" to train and convert good members into darkness,
My Uncle is a Blue Lodge Mason. Has some amazing skills and hobbies. Was an architect and designed major medical centers.
His main hobby is restoring rare tools from hundreds of years ago and then he uses them to do custom woodworking. Super complex kitchen islands, cabinets, etc. he delivered an island to my mom that was in 8 sections so it could fit through her door and when he assembled it the tolerances were like nothing - everything fit perfectly. It was insanely impressive. He was joking that when he dies the only way to get the damned thing out of that house would be to pay someone to chainsaw it.
Anyway he made me promise not to become a mason. He said that once you do they have access to your banking, your transactions, approve your purchases, and even decide who you marry. He described the brothers being more atop you than a sponsor in AA. That once you are in you can’t leave as they really do have control over your finances and largely also your mortgage etc.
This is the method they use to convince humanity to embrace its own enslavement, too.
I disagree. Look at it this way.
The Catholic church was good. The GOP was good. The NRA was good. The Salvation Army was good. The Boy/Girl scouts were good. The YMCA was good.
Because of that.....they attracted people who believe. With enough people, the organizations then had wealth and influence.
They became a source of power, for those who control that wealth and influence.
Unfortunately that ALWAYS attracts exactly the wrong type of people (sociopaths) to seek (and often attain!) leadership and control over the organizations for personal, and corrupt, purposes.
YES. I too left the church! Finally someone else says what I have been saying over and over. Holy crap, the oaths, hand symbols and gestures and clothing artifacts used in the mormon temple... if new church-members had a clue.. especially women.. they would never join! When women go through temple marraige and find out just how insignificant a wife is to the church... most cannot even face what it means
As I understand it, Mormonism borrowed a lot from Freemasonry.
This comes from the Freemasons, themselves:

Good for you for being honest and objective. Glad you know Jesus.
A temple ceremony so secret we send out tens of thousands of missionaries to share it with the world.
Um...Mormons DO NOT SHARE the temple ceremony with potential converts let alone their own kids!! "TOO SACRED" is the buzz phrase. The missionaries aren't even trained to discuss Jo Smiths marrying teenaged girls and already married women...
They don't even share it with fellow Mormon's who are not "recommended" to go to it. You have to pass an interview for that.
And you won't get your temple recommmed if you aren't paying your 10% tithe either
My husband’s Grandmother and Great Grandmother were Mormon and we heard about their strange wedding rituals- very bizarre
You can read the essays online about JS polygamy.
There is literally nothing new in the temple ceremony other than a few handshakes. All of the covenants are already in the Bible clear as day. We don't put people through the covenants if they aren't already keeping them.
It doesn't around like you have participated in the temple ceremonies yet. More than handshakes kid-- A LOT MORE
