This was planned months ago to occur at the end of the year. Supposedly PCR tests will be replaced by some test developed by a company Gates invested in.

Those are rapid tests, not true RT PCR, which needs a an instrument. Rapids aren’t as sensitive as a RT PCR.
RT PCR means that the testing amplicon is being monitored throughout the test. The curves are checked to see if there is a positive up to a certain cycle. Why? Well up to that certain point, the reagents used for testing runs out on that sample.
I'm sure the new test will be totally trustworthy, and there will be no nefarious plans behind it.
I don't trust these SOBs. If they are dropping this test they have something else up their sleeves and it can't be good.
