Rogers move is one that drove me to r/GAW. That was the only place any discussion was going on. It also led my education re: NSA vs. CIA. Had no idea NSA was military derived while the CIA is civillian derived. Go deeper and see the majority of CIA recruited from universities. With universities getting further & further Communist oriented over the years how could that not translate into policy direction wherever graduates land?
Absolutely disgusting that our military leadership needs to "play the game" for 20 years as a "sleeper" to protect the constitution once and then retire.

Sleepers do more than just act one time though. They influence hiring (bring in more sleepers and allow deeper infiltration) they can get the enemy on the wrong scent, influence what information the enemy gets, and all sorts of stuff. It's just covert. In public they'll praise the enemy and play the "game". In private they are undermining and sabotaging and allowing in more saboteurs.
Getting a sleeper into a high position can be highly destructive. Think of all the other sleepers they can get into the right places who in turn get sleepers in. The enemy often does this or tries to do this to our side. (Think Alex Stovall in Arizona).
The DS just never thought it would be done to them on any effective level. By the time they realized they'd been deeply infiltrated it was too late. Now even they're struggling with who is on their side and who is only pretending.
The next step is preventing the Enemy from infiltrating your side with sleepers. The Trump administration had a lot of tactics for forcing the sleepers out. Also the lack of leaks in Huber and Durham show White Hats figured out a way to keep Black Hat sleepers out. Or force them out before they could do real damage.
Mike Rogers revealed himself, but the DS couldn't force him out like Flynn and he stayed until May 4th, 2018.
Think of all the other sleepers that Flynn and Mike Rogers could bring in during their time in the Obama administration.
