I remember reading a story once with the provocative headline that monkeys are smarter then men. Story goes a group of monkeys got into some alcohol, consumed so much they got drunk, and then got sick. After that, the monkeys stayed away from the alcohol and wouldn't drink any more. Hence, the monkeys were smarter then men who drink, get sick, vomit, etc. over and over and over ...
So perhaps guide dogs are smarter than men, as well.
Have you heard the stories about using sugar to trap monkeys? Hunters put sugar in holes small enough for monkeys to reach into. Since the monkeys are too greedy and want to grab as much sugar as possible, their fist is too big to pull out. Even when the hunters show up they refuse to drop the sugar and run.
Ha! Kinda adds balance to the story here.

I forgot to add, I think its pigs and humans who are the only ones who willingly get drunk over and over again. 🐸🍻🐷

I always remember when that Tsunami hit Japan, just before it many animals that with the ability to fled for higher ground.
I believe we were once connected in that way too, however we have been systematically deprogramed against it.

take your shoes off outside and let your feet connect with the earth. It's called grounding. Interestingly we are the only creature on the planet that has insulated ourselves from direct contact with the planet and its electrical frequencies.
