Too late, the damage is done, many are unnecessarily dead they. They are no better than the French collaborators. They only changed because the wind changed. Too late, the damage is done.
No thanks, not today. You miss my point. These medications should be over-the-counter without question. For the pharmacies to just now make Ivermectin available to people is too late, they should have done that a year and a half ago. They have been part of the problem, and contributed to the deaths of many. My criticism is towards them not the medicines mentioned.
I take it 'vet' in your username stands for veteran and not veterinarian. No disrespect here, quite the opposite, just noting the difference in training and perspective. Ivermectin is an antimicrobial agent, an anti-parasitic more specifically. This is important because we use it to selectively kill other organisms in order to make us healthier. Antibiotics and antivirals work the same way. The catch is that they're effectively just a selective pressure to the organisms we're killing. They're a stimulus to evolve.
We started widespread use of penicillin during WW2. It was a miracle drug. It staved off infections and saved countless lives. Within 1 year, resistant bacterial strains had evolved. Now, those 1st generation of penicillins are used only for a tiny handful of diseases. We overused the drug and the targets evolved. Nearly every drug has something that's resistant to it. As careful as we are with diagnosis now, resistance continues to evolve. That's true of bacteria and antibiotics. It's true of viruses and antivirals. Some strains of HIV, for example, are a real beast to treat. We're seeing this with our anti-fungals as well. "Life finds a way."
This can and will happen with our anti-parasitic agents, like ivermectin.
There's a reason we have a doctor see you, diagnose you, and then prescribe treatment. If we get sloppy about this, we're going to see resistance evolve rapidly and render the drugs useless. And new ones are really hard to find.
I'm not against using ivermectin. My argument is that doctors should prove you have COVID and not a cold before you take it, and if you have it for worms, then the pharmacist needs to tell you about the Mazzotti reaction, which is when this very safe drug can potentially be less so.
It would stop most issues. Amazing how healthy 1000 head of cattle are. Ows Smeared in ivermectin for decades and it still works. Side benefit to those who smear it in with their bare hands? Yup the cowboys I k kw can drin right from a tapewprm parasite infested cow trough if they needed to and not so much as have one little loose shit over it. .
I am stuck here. Old fart, SS, the whole 9 yards. Recovering from pulmonary embolisms that followed the rona in early December, several hospitalizations, had crushing fatigue for several weeks but finally getting past that. Lost much strength, ability to walk very far without great fatigue & pain. I never do vaxxes.
Being taken to housing court in February because I won't wear a face diaper. Surrounded by elderly sheeple who all lined up for both jabs. My town is being destroyed before my eyes; the majority of the people are silent, don't pay attention. A very few of us are watching, speaking out, but the commies have stripped the people of any power.
Since God is allowing these things to happen, He must have a purpose. He is my strength and hope.
If anyone wants to start an online business in New Hampshire, this could be something to consider (though probably need to look into legal liabilities with shipping ivermectin across state border)
Not a fan of this. The State shouldn't be making medical treatment decisions. The doctor and patient should be. Letting a prescription drug be sold to someone who hasn't been evaluated by a healthcare provider who's trained and licensed in diagnosis (pharmacists get the literal bare ass minimum of that, only enough to do OTC consults and know when to refer in their standard training), is dangerous. The system works this way for a reason. Differential diagnosis to figure out what you're actually sick with isn't easy.
If they want to discuss whether the drug is safe enough to be sold OTC or behind the counter, I have no issue with that. I think far too many safe Rx drugs probably should be made more accessible. We see the FDA do that from time to time. Ivermectin is a very safe drug honestly, and the only real reason to keep it Rx is to ensure the patient gets properly diagnosed so the drug is given only when they have an infection the drug will treat (this is an antimicrobial stewardship/protection argument).
For a state legislature to just overrule all of that out of desperation and a desire to say "Let's Go Brandon" is a bad idea. We don't need lawyers and politicians playing doctor. We don't need people self-medicating with an anti-parasitic for every cold or sniffle they get.
Newsweek has completely misrepresented the bill. The actual language of the bill allows for standing prescriptions to be filled. There is no bill or proposition of which I’m aware that would force any medication to be available without a prescription in NH.
The "comments" at Newsweek are favoring the truth.

Agree
There is always something that will kill a Parasite. They gotta eat.
Where’s your sauce? I haven’t read this anywhere, and I’ve read a lot of research.
I understand but ivermectin has many other uses not yet fully mainstreamed
Only some of rhe damage is done. We still live.
Tractor Supply been doing this like since 1938
Crimes against humanity. Hang 'em high.

Should have been this way since day one.
Good find PK80.
Are the roads passable to NH? Asking for a friend!
I live about 20 minutes from the NH southern border. I plan on checking this out soon.
I finished HS in North Hampton. I miss the clams.
Northampton is a socialist/leftist paradise. I'm gathering that it wasn't so much when you were there?
It was mostly rural…back in late 70’s/early ‘80’s. I heard it was built-up now.
I live about 25-30 miles from there. Disgusting place but then, this state is being taken over by these rabid jackals.
I give y’all credit; I could never live there again.

There is no possible way this makes it past the Gates of Big Pharma.
They'll kill the Governor before he can sign it.
But then the governor will be another COVID death. By doorknob or barbell or something. It's amazing what those covid germs can morph into.
Production is the critical node. Is it as simple as do it yourself hcq?
Curious if thats doable.
Other states will get the idea. They’ll be playing whackamole. Good luck to them
maybe they can sell it online
They’d make a killing! (by saving lives)
If anyone wants to start an online business in New Hampshire, this could be something to consider (though probably need to look into legal liabilities with shipping ivermectin across state border)
(I’d do it anyway).
Then federally it must be OK. Every person should be given 200 tabs per year. Close most of medicine down for lack of illness.

What makes them the experts on medicine now? I don't trust them and this issue is a prime reason.
Most countries you go to the pharmacist gor a prescription. At least the 5 I've lived in did it that way.
They won't be getting colds and sniffles. This shit is prophylactic. It's meant to be used as a vaccine.
This narrative is changing FAST.
Exactly. They know more than us which is just enough to be dangerous. I can guess right 50 percent of the time too.
I sure as shit am not.
Medical freedom, what a concept!
no shit, dick tracy...
Live Free or Die!
A lot of people have died already. But it is a step in the right direction
Cool.
Only about 2 years too late. Nothing like closing the barn door after the horse gets out.
Please keep us posted so we can put in orders. thx
