The Hershey Company has begun firing office workers who did not get vaccinated against COVID-19. On the way out the door, Hershey is asking employees to sign a nine-page confidentiality and release agreement that would remove their rights to sue the company or talk about their experience.
Although their signature comes with a “special separation payment,” many have not signed the agreement and won’t get the money. Employees say the payment was determined by an algorithm and for some, amounted to just over two months’ pay.
Me too. I love Hersheys and buy them all the time, love the dark chocolate. Until today...
What you'll notice after you completely switch to another brand, is that Hershey's uses an additive - butyric acid - that makes the chocolate taste faintly of vomit. That's what a lot of international people say about Hershey's because they're not used to the taste of that additive.
I have used their online feedback form to announce my intentions of permanent boycotting of their products. It was funny because they asked "What was it you couldn't find with us today" and I wrote FREEDOM.
So thats what that nasty aftertaste is. Thanks for clearing that up, I always thought their chocolate was nasty. Why do they add that shit in there?
To make you sick then force you to go to your doctor and big pharma.
Exactly & that’s the simplest explanation I’ve seen during this entire mess. That should be a meme!
Well that explains it. I alway preferred Lindt, even decades later.
I think they changed the recipe in the last decade. I remember something about the chocolate made in China. I can’t confirm that it’s been so long ago. A lot of the products we consume are made in China & it’s not on the label. Especially vitamins! The companies might be based here. But the synthetic ingredients come from China. They are put in pill form here in USA, hence made in USA. Never buy vitamins from Walmart, Sams, Target or drugstore with out researching the company. Even ordering on Amazon for legit companies is safer! I’m not promoting Amazon, just making a point.
Sam's Choice 70% bar is $2 and tastes like a $5 chocolate. Way healthier and tasty too.
I also really like Lindt's 70%, if you like dark chocolate it doesn't get smoother
Also, Sam's Choice chocolate bars do not contain soy lecithin.
Really? I have been looking for chocolate without soy and it is difficult. 99% of cookies also use soy lecithin. I have to buy the scottish butter cookies. Patriots really need to start creating independent food brands and never sell them to the cabal. that is where they start poisoning the foods.
Clarification: Soy IS listed in the "MAY CONTAIN TRACES OF..." statement. However, soy lecithin is NOT listed in the ingredients, which are: CHOCOLATE LIQUOR, SUGAR, COCOA BUTTER, NATURAL FLAVOR. Would not want anyone with allergies to think that it is soy free.
That is correct. Practically all our food is poison and my body tells me that every time I eat bad food. That is why the only food I can eat is real veggies and fruits and meat that I can see with my own eyes.
Food products are available with out soy. You probably won’t find them at your grocery stores, food clubs, Walmart & Target. They are more expensive also. I also say pay up front for healthy food or pay the doctor and hospital when the bad food makes you sick. (Pre Covid motto. I don’t trust them enough now if I do get sick.) If you like to cook you can find healthy recipes. Home Goods, Marshal’s & TJ Maxx has healthy snacks at cheaper prices. If you find something you like & don’t want to continue paying the price for the small amount find a recipe if you have the time. My daughter shops Thrive Market & is very satisfied. It is a fee of $5.00 a month but you make it up in savings. If there’s a problem with any product she gets a refund & they don’t require return. Last week they emailed: FedEx damaged your box. Would you like a refund or new shipment. She chose new shipment. She got home and had the damaged box delivered. Next day another box. I don’t know how they stay in business! Vitacost has some snacks. If you search Lindt chocolate online a lot of chocolate with healthy oils will come up. They are very expensive. I’ve never bought it because it’s so high priced. It’s part of that “ethically sourced” marketing. I don’t know about. I think it’s a marketing tool.
Really? I'll have to check that out. Hard to find good chocolate without that crap in them.
I love Lindt, unfortunately they contain Soy also.
Still supporting Walmart corporation that way though, Sam's club is effectively no different than Walmart.
Our local Walmart is not enforcing the vaxx mandate. I know they're not the best company, but better than Amazon.
Not healthy food.
European chocolate is so much better lol
Which brands, specificly?
My favorite is Lindt, it does have soy. I don’t buy it much because it’s very expensive. Ghirardelli would be second choice. It’s cheaper at TJ Maxx, Home Goods, Marshals & Ross. You can find it at big lots but it’s only slightly discounted. I’m signed up for Big Lots rewards & get coupons by email. If you shop at least once a month you get a coupon 15% or 20% coupons. I buy water from them so I’m in there.
If you get to Sam's, try the Fannie May S'mores Snack Mix. They may have it elsewhere but couldn't find it at Walmart. It's killer good.😍
You can order online from Walmart or some other places, Amazon or Target, some others too.
Amazon, Walmart, and target are all garbage companies as well
I agree they are bad companies. I live in a very rural area & they are my only options other than the local grocery store that rarely has what I need. In the 90s with the help of the government Walmart put the local mom & pop stores out of business. I know people like me are only growing these empires. I don’t know what else to do. The things I need are not local. Sometimes my husband can’t even find what he needs at Lowes and we have to order on Amazon. So it’s not the consumers fault. We have an Ace hardware & there stock is limited. This change has to come from the top. The supply chain isn’t getting to our local stores. If I get on the target app the majority of the items I look at aren’t available locally. The town I shop at is divided by two counties. Between those counties that shop this town is 150,000 people. The city is run by a corrupt government. Gangs are very bad! Most people live outside the city limits. Most stores close. The mall is always empty. I can tell you when I’ve been to the mall. I know it’s empty because I see the empty parking lot. I have to drive to Raleigh if I want to shop other than my local TJ Maxx. So, crippling of America was started long before the Great Reset of 2000. I have a Dollar General a mile down the street from me & the only thing I’ll by is medicine in an emergency. Everything smells like laundry detergent. Even the ice cream. I don’t understand it. I’ve heard other people say it that live in different areas and shop at DG when out of town. It’s a shame because they are the cheapest.
I do not buy from them. My mom loves them, but I practically convinced her those are not good places to buy food.
I was going to say switch to dove dark chocolate because it's amazing...but they're owned by Mars, which is the company that owns M&M...now I need a new chocolate company. 😭
