I'd put a mask on the robot that covers up its sensors and watch it lose its mind and topple over all by itself. Much more entertaining.

Because frankly the robot wearing a mask makes just as much sense as people wearing them. They're both useless. The masks that is.
A few layers of regular transparent tape over the lenses would be likely to obscure it's vision enough, and it would be a lot less visible and noticeable...

Pretty much everything autonomous is deliberately made with 80+% of it's weight in the bottom half due to the chance of it getting it self into a place where the angle may make it tip over(would be surprised if that weighed less than 500lbs...)
