Yes. If he invoked the E.A., the citizens will start stripping their money from the banks, as they no longer trust them with their hard earned money that the Govt can confiscate from their accounts the instant they support the Truckers with it
He could bring it back in at any point so this isn't over.
He has shown himself to be completely incompetent and unfit to hold office.
He must resign and an investigation into him must be held in order to bring back some semblance of respectability and trust to the Canadian government.
But we currently live in clown world so I don't hold much hope.
"Let's take everyone one in Canada, preferably business owners upset with the vaccine mandates, who statistically have larger deposit account balances......
and tell them we're going to seize all of their accounts because they donated $50 to the Truckers."
What could possibly go wrong there? Because having seen the writing on the wall, everyone will wait for the Casto bitch to seize their accounts, rather than empty them.
There's a line where stupid should have a prescribed remedy.
Senate was not on board. Trudeau is doing damage control, ending it before a clear public rebuke by the senate which would be worse for him politically than it already is. Also, Senate has access to and reviews classified information as part of its deliberation and decision making. Anyone's guess as to what info damaging to Turdeau could be there. Had the senate pulled the plug, there would be widespread questioning of senators regarding reasons for their decision. 100% Turdeau is afraid of that being public.
Canada just happened to roll out their digital ID this week after he froze people’s bank accounts. Trudeau gave everyone who is against digital ID all the ammo they will ever need to fight it. Instead of simply freezing their accounts, their entire identity would be frozen. The Cabal are not happy with him.
Don't post much, you guys figure so much out I have nothing really to add, but in this case I have a boots on the ground report from an RBC in BC Canada.
Went in last week to pull my money, got half, they seemed nervous, it was strange. Decision had to go to like 3 managers. Finally gave me about half of what's in my account and said they have to "order" more money. Fast forward to today, went in to pick up my "order" of the other half, a woman was complaining LOUDLY to a teller( that's weird by itself considering I'm in a small town) about only being able to get 5000 when she wanted 17. Teller saying "I'm so sorry, there's been a bunch of people wanting cash". Then I got to the window, told them I was here to pick up my money and they asked if I was Chris? I'm not Chris.
Could be something to this bank run stuff, I'm sure they'd never tell anyone though.
I'm not even near Canada, I'm in California, and I went to withdraw a large amount of cash and the teller said he wasn't sure if they had enough cash on hand, because for some reason everyone is withdrawing money this week.
I can confirm that physical branches rarely hold too much cash. If there's a certain threshold hit per day, some has to be "sent" back to cash ops. Mainly to mitigate risk and to minimize hold up situations. I would say most small town branches never have much more than 200k on hand (excluding ATMs).
The about face seems to be related to the "defund the banks" movement in Canada.

If anything this made him look weaker too.
This was fairly pathetic.....

And THAT crazy fucker shouldn't be walking free.
Starting to sound like a viable strategy. “defund the banks” 🤔
This is the solution
that sounds like Venezuela and its inflation.
That^

Nice post Chris... I mean...sorry kek
Absolutely has to do with the bank run. I've heard that they tend to only keep about 2% of people's cash on hand, so now they're panicking.

I would think this is it. If I had to guess. Something spooked the NAZI and only money could do that.
