That is what I always wonder. The first person to post virtually the same thing should be the one that gets sticked, not the 10 person to post.
Speculation, but I would guess that mods do not see all posts in perfect and complete sequence. Also, possibly, presentation might be a factor.
It builds morale to know you've made the effort, posted to the board, and get stickied. Kinda sucks if you make the effort first, but as maga p above states, what's important is that we ride together.
