I always loved (still do) these types of "insider" posts. Love 'em.
But for most parts, here's how it works. Throw in enough and diverse global/national players, add a rough time-line, wait for something heppening, say I told you so.

Read a book where the author claims the 10 tribes of Israel are not on this planet, were taken in a way similar to the city of Enoch. Says their technology was uninterrupted by ‘dark ages’, will return in spaceships. Do I know whether it’s true? No. But I can’t deny it’s possibility.
I don't think we can handle 50 years of advancement in 10 years, nevermind 10,000. You're talking about terraforming planets in a human's lifetime, which will probably be greatly extended, faster than light communication and travel, not needing mobile devices, eradication of all disease, and a fuck ton of other things I can't think of right now.
FTL comms is already understood if string theory pans out. It's actually not that hard to grasp.
Life extension, the thing where they said DNA is too complex to nail it down, yeah no. Probably already have a clean idea, just not a good idea where to keep the people if/when this comes out.
Sterilization and low population numbers works if everyone is gonna live very long lives.
Teraforming is more simple than they claim, the excuses they give that it would take thousands of years doesn't even make sense, and doesn't pass the sniff test.

I'm thinking military comes out in the open, declares our states have had illegal elections for generations and therefore can't hold their own elections. So the military will take some time before the next one.
