I don't see why you took such offense to my comment, or what I said to provoke that response. Many children that have suffered sexual abuse go on to become virtuous Christian adults. One example would be Milo Yiannopoulos, who is now ex-gay and no longer thinks that an adult having sex with young teens is cool. Could it be that God used sexual abuse when he was a child to cure him of his deviant "tastes"? Almost certainly. Do not fear suffering in this life, my friend. This life is but a blip compared to eternity. Our Christian Saints suffered a lot in their lives. Some were thrown to the lions, others crucified, others worse. If a bit of buggering is all it takes to make your child into a virtuous Christian, it's a small price to pay.
It's very upsetting to me when people pretend evil is God's fault. Children commit suicide every day so people " pretend " God won't give them more than they can handle. The devil destroys people, not God. I don't mean it to be personal but I do want to call out people shifting blame from the Devil to God. I know some very decent Christians that are way to ignorant about the current evil agenda. They are useless to contribute to stopping even one evil act because they are blinded by cowardice. Pretending God is in control of evil needs to be called out. Yes, God collects the souls in the end, we should do everything we can to protect the children until that time.
Amen. I feel the same way about my children, my nephews, nieces, their babies, and all children. Adults, the get held to a different standards because I feel, once you become an adult, you know better and should do better.
Maybe the problem is that we do nothing unless they come to our house. I think its about time we clean it up for our neighbors so thry won't come to anyone's house.

Everyone knows the difference. Try looking it up sometime. Murder is "premeditated malice", which describes the comment I was replying to, although bloodthirsty ppl of simpleminds think some acts of murder are justified. Vengeance is MINE, saith the Lord. Not ours.

If you read what's actually being said in the comment I replied to you might be able to figure out that I'm responding to "premeditated malice", which is the definition of murder vs killing. Nowhere in the Bible will you find a verse that says "Vengeance is YOURS, saith the Lord - go and kill anyone who does you wrong." The comment was not about self-defense. It was about a premeditated act of "vengeance".

That's how a nation starts to erode our rights. First they take away rights from people like pedophiles or terrorists. Because who would actually want to be the person standing up and defending one of those kinds of people? So, their rights get taken away, computers spied on illegally, enhanced interrogation, etc. And then there's precedent. Under the law, all citizens have equal constitutional rights regardless of what they've done. So if you take away their rights, you take away your own rights in the process.
I'm not saying not to give them a fair trial and fair hearing. But those people have done the most evil and disgusting shit anybody could think of. If found guilty, they should quickly be executed.
God's law prescribes the death penalty for rape in Deuteronomy 22:25.
And in Luke.17 [2] Jesus says:
"It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones."

Read the whole thing keeping it all in context and you'll find the New Covenant as embodied in Jesus - a character you may have heard of in passing who is also GOD - DOES AWAY with the Law and the Old Testament justice. Both Jesus and the Apostle Paul say directly that God does NOT do away with the Old Testament. Quite the opposite, Christ affirms and fulfills it.

Murder is the context He quoted, and phrased as killing which is inclusive of murder. Much like all adultery is fornication but not all fornication is adultery. All murder is killing, but not all killing is murder. But you can skip the part He was citing of the Bible that'd He'd expect you to know about before getting there.
