so would bombing the crap out of all those labs...they are their own best defense
I would argue bombing the labs would be the preventative. But at what other cost? I don't know how big of a bomb, or what type, would be necessary to completely eradicate each site.
Bombs with thermitic compounds would suffice. They burn at temps over 5,000Β°F, and continue burning until all the explosive is oxidized. Which usually takes at least a couple days. High Explosive Incendiary (HEI) could be used, too. And, just for good measure, since these types of labs usually have an underground complex too, I would prescribe leading with some form of guided hard target penetrator, followed up by a few guided bombs after that. Completely level the structure, and burn/bury the whole thing out of existence.
Napalm.
Bunker busters, followed by napalm. Incinerated and obliviated!
Strap them onto muslim suicide bombers after convincing them that theyβre engineering pigs to look like mohammad at those sites.
Thermobaric bombs.
The questions is not whether these are used, but by whom. The truth always is the first casualty of war. The plan of attack usually second.
What is interesting though is that Russia accuses Ukraine of employing MLRS weaponry.
https://www.deagel.com/Artillery%20Systems/TOS-1%20Buratino/a002564#001 1985 = Soviet era. meaning: Ukraine also has them. Maybe not to the latest RF specification, but none the less ... also check out what Ukro's have as a heritance of the soviet era. https://greatawakening.win/p/142B5jh4dP/the-mysterious-craft-that-slamme/c/
Combine this with the notion that they may have capability to:
That is why the first item on the strategic list was to destroy the integration capabilities of the ukro military. And that was achieved within the first 24 hours.
With missile and precision munitions, many sites outside of civilian areas are easy to take care of. Those within civilian areas are much more difficult. Think your rank and file skyscraper .... or a university lab ....
Damn, I read plans of UMC Erasmus in Rotterdam wanting to have a BSL-4 lab, instead of a BSL-3. Such facilities are not to the advantage of human progress, but rather designed to it's destruction.
You don't take halfway measures. Go in on foot and appropriate and extract all the viable samples. Assemble the remainder and incinerate. Then, knowing exactly how the lab is built, demolish expediently. Drama is not your friend.
I like it. Maybe hit a dozen or so with different size bombs, like from a grenade to a small nuke, then check it out and go with what works.
Or just drop Stacey Abrams on Ukraine and be done with it?
I'm only half joking.
