When we elect a president,we are choosing that person to make decisions for us.The idea that professional office poags are acting against those decisions is infuriating.Unelected people making decisions for the people is our primary problem throughout the system.
i know, im just trying to analyze his speeches and see into his mind. Like sometimes when i hear trump speak i genuinely dont hear it as him having some kind of plan but its the little slip ups like this that give me some hopium here
Sadly, I think you are right. But there are holes in their foundation such as Trump winning the 2016 election proves., However, by 2024 there will be no way to legally save our country.
I disagree. First off, Biden isn't the president and hasn't been given full powers. President Trump was screwed more than once by people he couldn't get rid of. A President needs to have his own people around him.
Not saying Biden is President. But the thought of a President getting to fire anyone creates a huge problem. If everything gets cleaned up and the DS is removed for ever thats great. But there is a lot that falls under the Executive Branch and I for one want a Government with less power.
Until recently, it was customary for the new President's Chief of Staff to require signed resignation letters from all Executive Office personnel. Then the new President appointed the people he chose for each job, refusing the resignation letters of the staff he chose to retain.
It's not every executive office personnel that's replaced when a new president comes in, usually just the positions that require Senate approval. New secretary of state, secretary of agriculture, secretary of the interior, their direct deputies who are second in command, etc. But the large majority of people who work at these departments or agencies stay on the job however long regular people stay at jobs (cuz they are regular people), from short to essentially their entire career.
It would create so, so much time to retrain new people for all of the official type workers, would lose so much productivity, government services wouldn't continue to function uninterrupted, institutional knowledge is retained. These workers follow the lead of whomever the president appoints and the Senate confirms.
He wouldn't be able to fire anyone. He would be able to fire anyone who WORKS for him under the Executive branch. It's like saying the president of Apple can't fire anyone in his company. He most absurdly can and should be able to do so. President Trump had layer after layer after layer of Deep State agents refusing to carry out his orders. What exactly are you supposed to do in that situation when people refuse to do their jobs? The only logical recourse is to fire them.
The president should 100% control the executive branch. All federal branches should be so small that it won't matter. The problem is, that we are so far removed from the original constitution.
We've been getting meticulously fucked since before any of us were born.
This is only common sense. The president takes on the responsibility for how the country runs. He should have the right to hire/fire anybody he wants at any level. Any CEO would be able to. So the elected president should be able to get supporters of his programs, which the people elected him for, into the agencies.
Yes, great words. For all the obstruction he faced the first term, he should get another 4 years, like he was never President. So 2 years (replacing the fraudulent puppet JB), plus 2 more terms=2+4+4+4 (the first 4 were obstructed, endless court appeals and 2 impeachment trials). That will get the liberals heads spinning.

Wait did you hear him say after bringing the deep state to heel. "It's already happening" just my 2 sense
It better be. Because if not, we will not have a country by 2024.

"the deep state must and will be brought to heel"??? Dogs heel, right? And now Obama's got the coof?
yeah but who cares now, its old news to test positive for covid. I want to see Obama test positive for HIV he contracted from Michael. LOL
I hear ya. Coveffe comes to mind. 4D chess.
There hasent been a country since somewhere between NAFTA and the patriot act.people just notice it every so often now

Crossing the Rubio cons.
Giving the president that much power is obsurd and should never EVER happen.
Imagine if Biden had that authority now.

Lost productivity is the best part

Lol clearly those rules didn't stop them from making it this far.
We also should be allowed to fire our government employees by voting them out

Somewhere there a policy trump already signed. Bet...
Putin says "Hold my beer".
