sadly technology expands in this direction. Consider the rise in car leases. Cell phone upgrade programs. Home rentals (due to more transient living styles, among other reasons of course)
Public transportation. Library cards (now virtual books and audio books)
Think streaming services. I bought my first music cd in like 10 years the other day (Tom Macdonald) and the only reason was because he was trying to cut out the music industry middle man.
Spotify, Netflix, etc are all based on the same principle: people are less willing to pay retail to own something and more willing to pay a smaller fee to have access to the same or similar experience.
The WEF wants to use technology to make an entire globalized technocracy that is more automated and efficient with the lowest possible cost to manufacture and distribute and charge every citizen a small fee to have access to these services.
It’s weird, yes, but a lot of people (including myself) used to think this model was a good thing.
Aka less waste, more reusability, etc.
Obviously this is a giant totalitarian scam. But it’s appealing to the younger wide eyed and naive people who believe their manipulation and lies.
LOL I bought CS8 or whatever it was on ebay and used that permanent license for YEARS until it stopped working on my Mac (updated architecture). Oh well, bye bye Photoshop.
Thank you!! Rich people have assets, poor people have liabilities. Things are assets, fees are a liability. You pay for Netflix for a few years and cancel your subscription, what do you have to show for it then? Instead, patiently build up your own media library-one that will last when connectivity or other people's servers fail, one that will never have shows or movies you once enjoyed removed, one that doesn't subsidize evil, one that will never be censored, one that can not be stripped from you for wrongthink.
A lot of those ideas are good and inevitable in my opinion. It’s just when they are commandeered by these globalist scumbags that it can turn nefarious. To horrible degrees too. They’re trying to create a technoslave peasant class. But if the white hats can stop them, technology can be used for good rather than evil.
This! I think as Christians we are all leery of ANY kind of “digital” currency no matter what it’s backed by, due to the system we know has to be in place in order to give rise to the Mark of the Beast. I’m not comfortable w/ completely doing away w/ physical cash that you can choose to have and exchange for goods and services if you so desire.
I have a debit card that I can basically use anywhere that I want to, but as of right now, I can also go and pull the amount I have in the bank and physically have it and use that in place of my debit card. I’m personally not comfortable w/ that type of “system” going away, even if it’s backed by all the precious metals and jewels in the world. But that’s just me. 🤷🏼♀️
I used to think that Jesus had to return in physical form when He returns. Now I realize that in order to truly worship God we must worship Him in Spirit and Truth.
I believe the Great Awakening is just that. We have allowed evil to take and stay in control. I am including myself in this statement.
The Great Awakening will show us what evil really is and what happens when we do not stand against it.
As Q has said 99% would be in the hospital if they knew.
We will all know that evil is real and the only protection against evil is walking with the Living God. We do not have to see Him to walk with Him. In fact seeking to "see" Him is in a sense idol worship.
My idea of a nice nomad home is a flying Yacht. It's 2022 where's the anti-gravity tech? We've got laser beams and holier-than-thou communist progressives, where's our sci-fi antigrav?
That's about the time the Antarctic Treaty was signed. Another words no trespassing. Also Encyclopedia Britannica stopped printing Flat Earth info. Wasn't NASA hatched around that time as well? Just a "coincidence"

Adobe's Creative Cloud comes to mind. You no longer 'own' a copy of Photoshop you lease it!

And hello, Bittorrent.

Indeed. The efficiency is beautiful. Maybe after Christ reigns on Earth, I'll lower my guard and take advantage of it.

It’s the only way to be sure.

Tiny homes and conversion vans are a good way to save money if you don't need "stuff."

There is no gravity.
there's no proof it exists
Gravity is a myth. The earth sucks.
ok I'll bite.. what is going on if gravity doesn't exist?
1957 Antigravity Report was released………….58?

Yep. Like cryptocurrency....
