Yes, very much so. God the father is the "head of the household" so to speak. Our heavenly Father who commands us and guides us in the path we ought to follow. The Holy Spirit is the nurturing "mother" aspect that helps your faith grow and blossom. And Jesus Christ is the son, the lamb who was slain as the final sacrifice for our sins. The perfect man. Everything God created is a reflection of Him in his divine glory. What a brilliant artist indeed to have created such beauty! Simple, and yet so much attention paid to details that it's hard to imagine there isn't a benevolent creator who hand crafted everything we see and more. My heart sings knowing that my soul belongs to Him! How could I pass up being in service to someone so powerful, and yet so kind and gentle.
Judaism is rooted in a pantheistic religion. Abraham and his father were high priests of the Sumerian religion. Elohim is not God but gods.
The real God doesn’t show up until Moses when he silences all the other “gods”. You’ll notice God no longer refers to himself in schizophrenic terms after that point.
Abraham saw “God” in the flesh with his servants and did not die but rather bargained with him for his family’s lives. Moses was told by the real God that he’d die if he saw his face. These two scenarios cannot be rectified as the same God. Nor can we rectify the fleshy “god” as God that Abraham bargained with, given that Christ is the Lord made flesh.
I’m interested to hear other peoples theories but the inconsistencies of the Old Testament point to Israel’s struggle to let go of the old ways.
Elohim = The Trinity
This^^ God is 3 separate entities, and yet distinctly 1 supreme being. Pretty mind blowing for us 3 dimensional beings
Mind = blown for sure
Maybe we die, meet God, a go "ohhh, now it makes sense!"
Things I think about when I can't sleep.
Lol exactly. I for one am excited that I get to meet the Creator and King of my soul. It'll be glorious! Blessings fren!
and I cant explain to my Ortodox friends it is not a male. It cant be, it is a father and mother in the same time, and a son....

The father son and holy spirit are 3 distinctly separate entities. So that can't be.
And combined they are 1.
So again, Elohim it's plural. It would be El.
