Yeah you don't deserve a down vote for that but I think he has to do it through a different route than speaker because making weird paths to the presidency normal will be abused I'm the future if he does it.
I agree. I also think Trump is too much of a Chad to take a position in government lower than his rival, and a ‘demotion’ from his previous position.

I think if something does happen, it is going to be outside what any of us thought and completely unexpected. Like the Federal Corporation is proclaimed bankrupt publicly and the only legitimate governance even in existence is the American Confederation of States which will spin up a new Government that Trump leads.
That is pretty far out there but along the lines of what I think might be coming.
I agree with you and most people here that the Speaker plan is goofy, but it wouldn’t be permanently sneaky. It would only be for a while until Republican Congressional majorities could impeach and remove Biden and Harris. Then Trump would get almost half a term before he would run again and crush the 2024 election, removing any lingering thoughts of sneaky back doors.
But yeah, I think The Plan’s idea of devolution leaves less to chance and relies less on RINOS.

Good. I asked yesterday for that ridiculous dopey gimmick to be put to a quick death, and the president graciously obliged.
Even if he'd been installed using that trick, it would have looked dopier than Biden.

Well Branham was himself discredited, but it is a bit scary.
I could actually see the left using this route for Hillary, and it really backfiring on them. The American people won't accept anyone who gets in via that route, and that would further burn their house to the ground. Trump is right about this. He shouldn't want to be put in that way, because the optics would be really, really bad. The American people would be more open to learning the full extent of fraud that took place, and that being corrected, than to backdoor Trump in like that.
