I would expect a 93% drop in sign ups too, after so many signed up, there isn't anyone left to sign up.
With most of new Twitter users being bots I see this drop as a good thing. Only so many real people out there the sign ups should slow down
It’s now April. They said they’d be fully online, functional and on Android/desktop by now. Zero updates from Nunes. Terrible rollout and $DWAC shareholders have every right to be pissed off.
Honestly, this is one of the smoother social media rollouts I’ve seen. They’re taking their time and doing it right.
Facebook was famously a mess and probably still is.
Twitter was held together by duct tape for the longest time when it launched and crashed constantly. They actually faked a lot behind the scenes specifically to keep it running for celebrities

Could they communicate a bit more? Definitely. But things like this don’t just launch 100% over night, and whenever anyone tries to, it implodes spectacularly. So far, Truth social has not imploded.
I remember getting a Twitter in 2008-2009 and it was DEAD. Didn't become popular until 2012-2013 iirc

I’m at #420k and still not in even though my account was ‘created’.
They are being careful to keep it stable and bot free.
I know but I signed up 5 weeks ago and am still not in. Not good for momentum when people are waiting weeks on end to get in
Wednesday evening I got an email I was in-logged in and marveled at the ease of log in... Already had people following me.. 🤔
It says my account was created and shows my @username, but when I try and log in it still just says I’m on the waiting list and shows my number in the 425k range.
I had that for a couple weeks, then the email arrived telling me I was in.
As soon as they release for Android - poof goes this fake news story.

I have seen this is the narrative they are saying everywhere, they must be losing bigly its pretty funny this is the best they can do, reminds me of them trying to say no one turned up to a Trump rally but every rally was like the monsters of rock tour in russia haha.
Trump Jr news app is also leading the top of the downloads too.
I am ready to sign up once they have android or PC access.

Have you tried signing up a second time directly through the app? I've read that's what some people did to get in.
